lindabacker 10-24-2006, 7:33 PM Do they even have a BF sale worth going to?
Kay1996 10-25-2006, 9:32 AM Not that I know of. I work Next to the Disney store and they never have advertised sales, just clearence items.
Vickis3js 10-25-2006, 2:42 PM Last year they had a lot of things on sale. Nothing really advertised though. I know I got dolls for my DD for $9.99 and the next day they were $20. I know I will be making a stop there later in the morning!
mrodgers169 10-25-2006, 4:22 PM I've been there the last 2 yrs and for their early bird specials it was always 25% off anything in the store. THE LINES there are crazy so I just gave up on it since they only have 3 registers at most!
jellybean051901 10-26-2006, 4:00 AM The Disney stores by me don't have BF sales specifically. Just their normal sale stuff...not really worth fighting the crowd for IMO
lar0713 11-2-2006, 11:46 AM Last year on BF I got the new Cinderella DVD for Free with a (I think) a $50.00 purchase and everything in the store was take an additional 25% off. I love getting stuff in there on BF to put in "Toys for Tots".
Care Bear 11-5-2006, 9:35 PM I've never been to the Disney Store on Black Friday but if they have some good deals, I might stop by their to pick up some things. I love Disney so I'd probably end up buying everything I see, lol!
tazolover 11-5-2006, 10:38 PM I've been to our mall on the past 2 BFs and seen the deals at the Disney Store. Honestly, I haven't seen anything that I had to have or couldn't get with a coupon online. Since the B&M stores and the OL site are owned by different people, I often find better deals online than I do instore.
peggbt 11-10-2006, 10:13 AM I worked for too long at the Disney catalog before they sold it to some Utah outfit who shipped the jobs to India. They sold the Disney stores to The Children's Place in 2004. When they did that, they started having BF deals. The ads are hard to come by, so you have to show up at their store and see what they've got. Usually some stocking stuffers are worth the effort.
krissy72 11-13-2006, 7:35 AM Taken from another site- tems for BF listed on a flyer handed out yesterday when I went to the Disney Store. The ad says Special One Day Only Prices, but does not give the price ::
Lightning McQueen RC Vehicle
The Little Mermaid RC Vehicle
Disney Princess Deluxe Tea Cart
Pirates of the Carribean RC Black Pearl Ship
Disney Princess Magical Castle
Disney Winter White Plush
The Little Mermaid My Size Talking Ariel Doll
The Incredibles Infrared RC Vehicle
Mystic Force Red Legion Power Ranger Action Figure
Disney Princess Magical Talking Vanity
ALSO - Take an ADDITIONAL 20% Off the ENTIRE STORE until 10:00 AM (restrictions apply)
tazolover 11-13-2006, 8:50 PM Do you know if you have to have the flyer in order to get the 20% off on BF before 10 am?
Thanks!
krissy72 11-14-2006, 7:29 AM No, I don't know.
stacya 11-14-2006, 5:23 PM Last year, you didn't need any flyer for the extra off...it just ran until 10, or whenever. I bought some kids jammies and little stuff there. Line was crazy, but totally worth it for what I was buying. They recently renovated the DS where I'll be, and I don't really like it--seems like they have less stuff now, so I don't know that I'll be heading there.
master doggy 11-15-2006, 3:50 PM Just wanted to chime in. I live in the LA area and I went to the Disney store today. They said they will open at 4am.
Vickis3js 11-15-2006, 6:04 PM I have the flyer and its not needed. Mine says will open at 5 am.
HTH
Vicki
EmConMom 11-15-2006, 6:15 PM Where do you get your hands on that flyer?
Can anyone that has one scan it?
NICKYSMOM1 11-16-2006, 8:41 AM If anyone has it plese scan it! ALSO a quick headsup,I went there on the day before thanksgiving last year and got all the deals.Except the extra percent but it was worth it to me becasuse I couldnt go on friday.
jediliz 11-16-2006, 11:40 AM My mall closed the Disney Store. I don't know why. This was a few years ago. Closest one is an hour away. Sounds like they will have a few good deals.
After Black Friday, the Disney Store near me had Buy 2 Toys Get 1 Free, plus I had a 15% off coupon. I was able to grab a lot of great things. I don't remember when exactly it was though. Does anyone else remember this near them?
goofyforsales 11-17-2006, 9:05 PM I was told that the actual sale prices would be up on either Tuesday or Wednesday before BF and then the big thing is the additional 20% off you purchase until 10 am Friday. Might be worth to make a short trip to scope it out and see if it is worth your time or not. I know they seemed to have some different things this year and not just the same old stuff you can already buy at Walmart, Target or Toys R Us already (like it used to be).
xbatman 11-18-2006, 2:56 PM On another discussion board, someone was told by a CM that they'd be giving out Mickey ears (at 10:00 am?). Anyone else heard this or know anything else about it?
leasey 11-19-2006, 9:12 AM yesterday my store gave me the flyer (nothing exciting on it) And told me that they sent out a BF flyer with everything on sale to their mailing list? I was hoping to find someone on here that got it. They had a good sale yesterday too.
myrtle 11-19-2006, 9:45 AM My disney store will be open Thanksgiving Day w/ 20% off the entire store. Hours are 10-5 that day. On BF they have 20% off until 10 am plus the specials listed above.
NICKYSMOM1 11-19-2006, 5:35 PM the only thing i received in the mail was a booklet with a 20 percent off coupon.
xbatman 11-20-2006, 3:36 PM I received a 20% off coupon too. It was from the Disney Rewards Visa card.
Does anyone know if you can use the 20% off coupon from the mail on top of the store's 20% off? If so, that might make it worth going. If not, I may as well go on Wed & just use the coupon & avoid the hassle of the crowd on Fri.
peggbt 11-20-2006, 11:54 PM Do we have a second on those Mickey ears? That would get me to the dreaded mall.

NICKYSMOM1 11-21-2006, 9:24 AM i'M dissapointed in the ad! alot of the items are regular price! I wonder if they will have other things on sale that are just not listed like last year? I guess I;ll head there tomorrow and see then I'll post an update/
leefamily23 11-21-2006, 10:48 AM The last 2 years it has been the whole store on sale on top of any current running sales. Also, ours opened at 4am last year too. They have a really cute sweater for my dog for Christmas w/ Mickey on it- I'd like to get that.
joeyjamie 11-21-2006, 10:39 PM I went to their website today and they have many of their pj's, normally 19.99 marked down to 7.99. Better than standing in line on Friday.
ronmorales 11-22-2006, 2:30 PM I dont know about black friday but last year during the christmas shopping season it was 50% off all toys in the store. I bought Buzz Lightyear for $12.00.
akitzen 11-22-2006, 9:40 PM I happen to know for a fact that the Disney Store Black Friday specials advertised on this site are INCORRECT. What is posted is last year's product. This year's product is not only incredible, but the sale prices are going to be great. In addition to the great sale prices on Friday, you'll get an additional 20% off the entire store until 10 am. Tons of Princess, Cars and Pirates of the Carribean stuff! Some stores open as early as midnight. Call your nearest store for their hours.
brandonz 11-23-2006, 7:51 PM ...
NICKYSMOM1 11-23-2006, 10:54 PM well i went wed afternoon and agot tons of deals.Everything was allready on sale and they let me take the 15 percent coupon on top of the sales.i was happy because i cant make it in the morning...i got 150 dollars worth of stuff for 86 bucks with tax and a free movie.
JerseyCanadian 11-24-2006, 11:32 AM I know that the BF website is not written in stone by any means, but I was disappointed when the "My Size Cinderella Doll"
was not Cinderella but Ariel. Is there anyone checking the legitimacy of these findings before posting them...just a question?

brandonz 11-25-2006, 10:44 PM Hey, brandonz - what happened to the mouse ears? I was at the Whitehall store around 5:40 and we were earless.
the ear promo started at 10am with a purchase.
megnsamsgrace 11-25-2006, 10:53 PM I stopped by the DS and was happy I did! I got 2 different tents for the kids for like $11 after the extra 20% off and I got the mini Ariel princess doll (the Ariel polly pocket basically). I need the Ariel Stylin head doll but she was full price so I said forget it, I will order it online ($12.99 but order $60 and you get $20 off).
xbatman 11-26-2006, 9:55 AM the ear promo started at 10am with a purchase. if u are still in the whitehall area as of 430pm on saturday we still had ears, plus we still has some great deals going on. again as of today our winter white plush was 10 but we are currently out of mickey and tigger. plus we have some cars merchandise and some of our pirates merch is 40% off and going fast.
Thanks for the reply brandonz! I had heard before that it was at 10, but others said that it was early. Oh well, I still got some good deals.
NICKYSMOM1 11-28-2006, 8:09 AM hey brandonz...is the pirate stuff still 40 percent off? do you know if stores are getting any more of the pirate ships? i am in desperate need of one :)

Vickis3js 11-28-2006, 10:09 PM Ok question for those who work there. Will they be doing the B1G1 free toys again??? I live in the Disney store from now till Christmas my kids are HUGE fans of everything Disney. I know they did it for the last 2 years. DS had his eye on a ton of stuff darn Power Rangers!!! Of course my DDs will take anything princess so I need to save as much $$$ as possible!
TIA
Vicki
