They had a "one page" flier last year, it wasn't much - but they had some deals.
Gurnee Al 9-26-2006, 7:54 PM I went there a couple years ago on BF at about 11am. There were like 3 other people in the whole store other than myself. Sam's Club is not a popular destination on BF.
NeepNeep 9-27-2006, 4:51 PM Yes, they had a 1 page flyer. And a free breakfast until 9 or 10 am, if I recall correctly. Mostly electronic items, I think. Even though I am a Sam's member there wasn't anything listed I was interested in.

My wife went in for the Kate Spade purse special, but they lady ahead of us bought all of the nice ones. The rest were granny bags. They only had 10 or so total.
My son waited outside of Sam's on BF so he could be the first one in line. It turned out that he was the ONLY one in line. He said that the employees looked at him like why would you be waiting in line here on BF. They must not have any deals!:g_shrug:
I talked to an employee the other day at Sam's Club here in Texas. She said that they were so excited because Sam' Club has figured out that the other stores sell alot of items on BF. This year she said that Sam's Club was going all out for this day. This lady has worked for Sam's for a long time in the camera and picture department. She said that last year she only had 6 cameras for sale on BF. This year the whole store would have many items. I feel like she is a responsible employee. She said to watch out for their flyer in the paper right before or on Thanksgiving Day! I hope this is true!! They would have some terrific deals!

Since they are ran by the same company as Wal-Mart, you would think they would know this already.
kandys 10-18-2006, 11:01 PM I Am A Sams Club Member But They Are At Least 1 Hour Away So I Doubt Ill Be Going There Lol Ill Be Hitting Walmart Wide Open...lol....however If And Big If They Had Like This Major Thing Going On I Might Consider It Other Wise I Doubt Ill Go!!!

Exactly what I was thinking.
Gator Pam 10-21-2006, 1:22 PM Does Sam's Club offer any really good prices on turkeys on BF? Or would that be an after Chr-stmas clearance item?
TENIA66 10-21-2006, 6:10 PM Sams club is the place to be the day after christmas....I walked out last year with gift bags, 7 packs, wired ribbon, 40 rolls, lights, a tree, yard ornaments, extension cords, toys, gift sets you name it, 200 bucks. I didn't need to buy a thing the rest of this year for presents, and i'm well stocked for years to come!!!
tlm2121 10-23-2006, 11:12 AM I have always shopped walmart on BF and am one of the people who stand outside for hours in the freezing weather. Was just wondering what kind of deals sam's club had last year and if it would be worth rejoining. I used to be a member about 3 years ago and we bought our HP computer there for a great price and i also throw a lot of parties so i bought lots of party supplies - does Sam's have good sales on BF and what type of stuff did they stock? Do/did they price match the CD and DVD prices from CC and BB?

BabyFu18 10-23-2006, 1:35 PM Last year Sams didn't have anything good, but maybe they'll do better this year. Since Sams is right next to walmart, if they had anything good it'd be easy to make the extra stop.
udratherbme 11-2-2006, 7:28 AM i dont know what they plan on doin this year, but last year we went to Sam's that night to buy a few big items and the store was a wreck... i did get a catalogue from sam's in the mail yesterday, just did not have time to look @<hidden> it to see what was on sale, i try to stay away from there, i spend too much money trying to stock up on the big stuff

I couldn't agree more. Sams is on my list for after Christmas as well. I got tons of things last year. One good deal was the Leapster Package marked down to under $40.00 from originally $99.00
debnmark 11-3-2006, 12:49 PM I agree that Sam's is a great place to go right after Christmas, but from my experience you have to go right away as the stuff goes fast!!!
Just got an email from Sam's club, BF ad will be avail in store on 11/17 and they will open at 5AM.

fairydustcrissy 11-11-2006, 6:52 PM I am wondering if the Xbox 360 is the good one or not? Its either the basic one and $50 extra for the bag, or the good one, and a bag for $50 less....
bigdogofftheporch 11-14-2006, 12:30 PM they have a 46" lcd t.v. made by vizio is it model #gv46L because i went to the vizio web site and they said that you can get it at costco went to costco web site no t.v that size in that brand any help would be appercated:confused:
peachysquirt21 11-14-2006, 1:28 PM I really wish Sam's would have alot more stuff for sale on BF. They never have any good deals that interest me.

Sam's will have that model for the sale. They are basically just rehashing the same sale that Costco had on this tv 1-2 months ago. Not very original on their part. This tv did not get a good review on cnet.com.

thank you redgtconv for the info i did look at the rating and the down load about the tv they said that it was all right for the price but the menu about adjusting the color made no diff. and the problem with the blacks being weak. i hope that they will have another large over 37" lcd at a special price on bf:yup: :eyepoppin
nyjets011758 11-15-2006, 5:15 PM Will we know the online deals at Sam's Club before Wednesday nite at 10:00. I am hoping for large screen TV but the 46" sounds like it is really not a deal.
left210 11-17-2006, 6:58 AM Anyone know if Sams return policy is as good as Costco? I read on here that you really do not need to buy a warranty on things at Costco because they will take anything back if you have a problem. Anyone have any experience with Sams especially on a Plasma or LCD TV?
bigdogofftheporch 11-17-2006, 1:18 PM I just came back from sams club got my one page front and back they had the vizio 46"hd lcd tv i asked if they had it i was told that they have'nt had the tv since it was on sale for the fourth on july i asked if they will have it in before thanksgiving they said they do'nt know if they will have it for bf. i then asked if they don't have it what happens then he said he did'nt know he said let me ask the manager of electo. the manager came over he said that if they don't have it in by bf he told me that you maybe able to order it on line. I said then i will have to pay for shipping he said it's out of his hands. I thought that if its not aval. then they would offer some other tv in it's place i'm i wrong on this?
mollannie 11-21-2006, 10:32 AM Sam's return policy is SUPER!!! I bought a Sony 32 inch TV in April of 2005. Two weeks ago, it stopped working. I returned it with no problem. Just remember to keep your receipt, manuals and UPC codes from the box. I upgraded to a 40 inch LCD and it is great.
A friend of mine returned a vacuum cleaner to Costco that stopped working after a few years and they too took it back with no hassles.
For big ticket items, I wouldn't go anywhere else but Sam's or Costco.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
skillen9432 11-22-2006, 5:41 PM Well, to all you folks interested in Sam's Club BF deals... Let me tell you as an associate of a Sam's in Ohio... There's not really going to be much of anything.. There is a one page flyer and they do open at 5 am and they will be offering a complimentary continental breakfast.. But as far as having to be a member, they do have a One Day Guest pass on the flyer so you wouldn't necessarily need to be a member, but be warned that with the pass there will be a 10% upcharge on your total purchase(s)... I'm not sure about all Sam's Clubs or not but I do know that the one I work at was handing out the flyers to members as they walked in the door this week so maybe you should go to your local Sam's and ask for one...
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
skillen9432 11-22-2006, 5:45 PM Anyone know if Sams return policy is as good as Costco? I read on here that you really do not need to buy a warranty on things at Costco because they will take anything back if you have a problem. Anyone have any experience with Sams especially on a Plasma or LCD TV?
I work at a new Sams in Ohio (so new we aren't even listed on the sams club page) and I work returns & membership so I can answer this for ya.. I know that I have returned just about anything imaginable and that I actually witnessed one of my managers return an item that was over a year old, was a gift for someone & purchsed by someone else, and it didnt work & it was refunded.. I do know that since she didnt have the receipt store credit was issued, but if you have your receipt you shouldn't have a problem, but like any place without the receipt they are most likely 9 times out of 10 going to issue you the store credit.:)
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
skillen9432 11-22-2006, 5:46 PM Does anyone know if they price match?
Not as far as I know & I work there..
skillen9432 11-22-2006, 5:48 PM I am wondering if the Xbox 360 is the good one or not? Its either the basic one and $50 extra for the bag, or the good one, and a bag for $50 less....
I'm pretty sure, since I looked at this item on the flyer that it has 2 controllers and the bag.. I could be wrong, but I'm almost positive that its going to be the bundle for the $449 (or something like that price).
