Don't wait to get email from them about surveys. It rarely ever happens. Check the boards frequently. Studies close very quickly. Some pay, some do drawings for Amazon GC's. The odds of winning are much better than at regular survey sites as these studies accept Far Fewer Applicants. When you log in to check surveys, ignore where it says "Credit." The reward is explained after you enter each study. They are trustworthy and reliable.

I'm new to doing these surveys. Are they safe, no way they will get my private information off my computer? I know I won't sign up if I have to pay, but what about when the company ask for SS# for 1099 form online? Yikes! Why would they do that, if the IRS doesn't need to know until up to $600? Just trying to get extra gc's for xmas... any reassurance would be helpful. thxs:confused:

The vast majority of Stanford ones are for drawings but your odds are much better than with the survey companies. They vastly limit the number of eligible applicants. I don't think I have seen more than 100 people (max) allowed into one study at Stanford.

Where it says "Credits" ignore that. That is for students only. Stanford doesn't do points. They either do a drawing for an Amazon GC or they guarantee payment. The one we got into tonight was a sure bet and we will receive 5.00.

The odds of winning in one of the draws is far better than regular survey sites as they
accept far fewer respondents. I don't think I have ever seen them accept more than 100 respondents. That is very rare. It's usually far fewer than 100.

For starters, it is a weekend. How quickly payment comes seems to be contingent upon the professor and/or grad student that is hosting the survey. They are pretty quick in comparison to the survey companies. Be patient, it will come. :g_thumbri

Hi there! The length of time Stanford takes to pay varies. It seems to be contingent upon the professor/grad student running the projects. Be patient. They will pay you. They pay much faster than most companies.

Don't worry about not having survey invites yet. It can take up to a month, possibly 6 weeks before you start getting regular invites from some companies. This is normal. Fear not. Just so you know, you can wait weeks. Even months to receive payment from some survey companies.

Yeah, those guys are great! Just go to "Your Account" then click on add a GC. After you add one you are taken to a screen asking if you want to add another one. Just remember, the original expiration date on each individual code still applies after having been entered into your account. You will find the expiration dates in the email notification. Keep track. Amazon does not keep track for you.

Just keep trying :) I check ALOT and nothing, you'll hit on one, I just happened to get up that early, my pup was sick and couldnt go back to sleep right away, decided to fiddle on the comp for a few and was very surprised to see a survey at 3am lol..Don't give up:)

I have been checking all day, up until just a min ago and nothing, usually there is one up by now.. I was wondering the very same thing, I doubt it being a holiday, but some kids dont go home for the holidays, so I'm going to continue to check anyway.. Hate to miss one..

If it's up to the professors to create, schedule, and post them, there probably wont be any posted. Professors get vacations. Grad students, however, don't. Especially in their last 1 - 2semesters. Believe me!
