I just read every mail they send. I've gotten enough points that way to get a Wal-Mart card twice, and I'm well on my way to my third.

Have you went to the easy points section and filled all of those out yet?

I think they are slowing down some, but I only have 90 to go for a $20 gift card. Be sure and sign up for all the stupid free offers and all the easy points.

You should update your profile with them. I got 4 emails for them yesterday and 1 so far today.

Not necessarily, I'm pretty sure their mails are somewhat targeted. I did receive several yesterday and two today though.

You have to opt-in for the mails, I think. There's a box to check at the top of your profile, I believe. (Would be more specific but I'm not at home so I don't have access, sorry.)

I quit mypoints a few months ago. I'd been a member for years but lately just just didn't seem worth it anymore. The point opportunities just keep getting fewer and they keep raising the amount of points you need to get something.

I remember back when you used to get 10+ points per email just for reading it... those were the good ole days.

Well, I went into easy points and did some questionnaires and it said it would credit 50 points but it didn't. Still have only 65 points... It said I've completed all the profile stuff. Oh well... If they ever send me something, I'll try for it.

Don't worry sometimes the points show up a few days later.

i must be lucky here as I just cashed in for my 2nd 25$ webcertificate and i havent been a member more then a year. Though I will say I do alot of online shopping so its easy to rack it up. Between codes listed here for places like Childrens place and REI and getting points from My points I get fairly good deals

I also have ebb and flow for the emails will go a week and only get 1-2 a day and then have a run of four days with 7-10 so it is just completely up in the air

Well, I created another account under ds's name and he hasn't had any offers in days so I think they are slowing down for sure. I got ONE today.

I get 5+ offers on most days. If you are getting less it could be because you ansered "no" to a lot of the interview questions on your interests and purchasing habits. Someone told me when I signed up to say yes to everything then you'll get more offers. Try editing your preferences to include more interest areas.

I just edited my profile, lets see if that helps because they have really really slowed down the past month, just when I'm ready to redeem.

I just do the emails, with the occasional "easy points" offer here and there. I've been using it for a few months and cashed out a couple of weeks ago for a $10 gift card. I'm about 200 points away from another $10 card.

I also do emails and easypoints (once in a while). The best way to get most points is through online shopping. Whenever I shop online (flowers and stuff mostly), I check mypoints to see if they are affiliated. I am averaging about 3-4 emails a day. It is a slow process but I think the emails increase as you stay with it longer. In the beginning I used to get couple of emails a month. Hope that helps.

I have been doing mypoints for years, I usually just get points from bonus mail, occasionally I will remember to go thru them when shopping, I just recieved a $50 bass pro gift card and it took about a year to get the points for it. Well worth the little effort I put in it.

I have been with MyPoints for about 5-6 years. I haven't shopped through them (my husband's a weirdo about online shopping) - so I can't rack up through those points, but I read my emails and each 5 point email adds up. I have already gotten 2 x $50 cards (one for Home Depot and one for Linens and Things). I really need to get back in the swing of things and rack up more points to get my numbers back up. I am itching to cash out and I only have enough points for a $5 g/c. Kinda a waste to cash out too soon.

how many points do you need to cash in a GC??

I believe Barnes & Noble gift cards are among the cheapest available on MyPoints, and this is their rates:

750 points - $5

1,300 points - $10

etc.

It seems that the $10 cards range from 1,300 to 1,500.

I used to get at least 4 a day, now I'm lucky if I get 4 a week. :(

i was getting 2 emails a day until i actually completed an offer for 300 points and also signed up for about 5 easy points offers for a total of 500 points. suddenly i have not gotten but about 2 emails in 3 weeks. two weeks ago i made another account in my moms name and address to see if the emails came. she gets 2 or 3 a day.
so i guess if you do an offer you will stop getting emails.

I dont think doing offers effects it. They do target so it seems to be hit and miss. I just got my 25$ webcertificate from them and am back to about a 1/3 of the way to the next one :)
