How much do you plan to spend during Black Friday?

Anything in particular that is a must or very expensive?

That depends on what's in the ads. My weakness is usually laptops, desktops and HDTV's. If they're cheap I might spend $1,000 - $2,000

Otherwise it might be under $500.

Mostly buying toys, electronics & clothes for the kids.

well i said 1000+ but i dont know ..i really prolly wont even go out. it will take to long to get in and out of vehicles and that will slow down the other person taking me .

At the moment I am saying 300-500. But that is my day I do most of my Christmas shopping for the kids if at all possible. We are looking to get a digi camera unless I get one before, Shels laptop, and Alex a go kart. So it may end up being more depending on if I find any really good deals. I am hoping to find them some decent cheap stereos that day to. Just gonna have to see how it plays out though.

I hope to have something to spend but it will not be as much as last year. I am hoping for 150 -200 but first I need a job!!

Budget depends on the ads to some degree. I need to find some shopping allies too, as the stores here in Detroit area are insanely busy--you're only getting in one in a timely manner.

It completely depends on what's available. I have a portion of my savings set apart for Christmas and December b-days, so I'm hoping there will be things available on BF that I'm looking for.

Out of pocket (before rebate(s)), I'm thinking around $400-$600. Now if there is a laptop deal at BB, it'll be a bit more. ;)

I need a new comforter too. I have had a down comforter for about 3 years now, and down pillows too. But I have developed an allergy to the down which has gotten worse and worse. I can't take it anymore (very severe), so I will be looking for a cheap down comforter alternative. (same luxury, no allergy). Saw one last year and passed it up. What my kids really want (a dog, and we're talking mutt here not purebred) isn't on sale on BF, but I may be watching the Petsmart ads... Depends on the prices of LCD TV's. Would like to keep it between $500-$1000 for the TV, but with my other purchases will probably probably end up being over $1000 in total.

prolly 200-300. i opened a seperate bank account specifically for BF just a few weeks ago. doing direct-depost a portion of my paycheck each pay period to save up. plus any rebates and other stuff will just be deposited right in that account and i'll keep it as sort of a revolving slush fund/savings.

I tend to spend around 350 on BF, but would spend more if the deals were right.:yup:

Well last year I bought the laptop at CC, a crappy digital camera and 4 mp3 players. At Walmart I bought the laptop, small LCD tv and a ton of dvds. This year I am planning on another laptop, a larger plasma or LCD HD TV and possibly a desktop or two ( desktops for grandkids). I almost have an internet cafe here with our 4 laptops already LOL! SO I a saying over $1000.

I am thinking like AMD FX 60+ or maybe AMD Athlon X2 5200 with atleast 2GB ram, 500GB HDD and a high end graphics card. I have decided not to go for Pentium this time.

I would have been happy to only send in a dozen MIR's last year. I ended up going a bit overboard and spent almost $3500.00 and had over $1200.00 in rebates. I'm still trying to match up all the check received with the rebate sent to see if they all came back.

This year I'm hoping to keep it between $500-$1000. The only big ticket item this year will be a TV.
