Research Study: Treatment for Binge Eating and Purging

Diana M. Hill, M.A., and Linda Craighead, Ph.D., are conducting a study on the treatment of binge eating and purging at the University of Colorado. The study is looking for female volunteers to participate in a FREE 3-month program (12 individual therapy sessions followed by a 3-month follow-up) aimed at reducing/eliminating binge eating and purging. Participants must have binges AND purges at least once a week for the past 3 months to be eligible. Binge eating is defined as eating large amounts of food and feeling a loss of control over eating. Participants must be over 18 and not be currently participating in psychotherapy. For more information please contact the Craighead Laboratory at 303-492-4159.
Job location is Boulder
Compensation: $20 after completion of the study and 3 month follow-up interview
