Hey all, I need your wisdom and help! I'm in the market for a new digital camera. We're looking to spend about $300. Right now we own a Sony CyberShot, but it quit working. We are looking for something with a high optical zoom, but don't need the high pixels (I don't think). I'm still learning this whole digital camera numbers game!! It will only be used to take basic pictures and videos of the kids. Nothing professional. Won't really need to be enlarging pictures too much. I'm just a mom with a camera!!! :) Any help will be much appreciated.

What problems are you having with the old one if I may ask?

The shutter button quit working. It just won't snap a picture or start capturing video.
