Okay, we have been up and running for almost a month now. So, how are we doing? Are we meeting your needs? What would you like to see done differently? Is there anything you would like us to add to this forum? Are you satisfied with the way things are? Let me know how you feel. Tell me what you like and don't like. Tell me what you would like to see added. What would you like to see removed? I will try to make it happen. Within reason of course.

Here are my thoughts and feedback.

I love this forum!!!

You can see from my posts I have been pulling in an excellent number of checks!!!

I would really like to see more people posting threads. How about heading over to craigslist.org, choose a city or two, research them on a regular basis then post the studies and surveys you find. I can't say it enough, I cannot and Will Not Keep up this pace as far as posting is concerned. If I stop posting what will happen to this forum?

I noticed while searching for a thread that threads on pages 2, 3, 4, 5. etc.. are not being read. You are missing out on a lot of good information! Just because a thread is not on page 1 does not mean it is old. It does not mean it is not a good thread with good information. Due to the number of threads I post daily, threads get pushed back, back, way back and they are not being read. For some reason people do not visit pages beyond page 1????

Participation as far as responses to posts has picked up! Thank you. I have noticed many new members and many members that have been here for several months but have only just recently started posting. Very Cool! Thank you people for your support!

Okay. I have yapped long enough. I am falling asleep at my keyboard.

Thank you for your help, support, and feedback!

Shalom

Sometimes, so much is posted in a little bit of time....it takes me awhile to catch up. Ya know how it is..."Mommmmmmm" "Honeyyyyyy" Somebody always wanting something!!! Anyways, I do try to keep up with ya mmm40 and I have to say things are really starting to pick up for me with paid surveys. I think it takes about a month for stuff to start happening with some of these sites.

I havent quite got into the mystery shopping ones, mostly because the kids are home on summer break now and take up alot of my time. I will probably get into those more when they are back into school. As far as I am concerned we could hold off for a little bit on those, but see what everyone else has to say.

I live in Akron, Ohio. Would be more than willing to help you out with searches if ya let me know what ya want me to do.

Okay, guess that I have rambled on enough for now...wanted to be sure to let you know we are paying attention and we appreciate all of your hard work!!!!!

i think you are doing a great job mmm40. i am not interested in the mystery shopping threads so i dont read them at all. all the survey companies that you have posted , i am a member of from before and all are pretty good sites.. it just depends on yr demographics to qualify for surveys. i feel the best of the lot for me is :

1. pinecone
2. globaltest market
3. survey direct.

These are my top favorite.
i also like synovate since they send alot of products to test but i havent earned any cash and of late the products they send you, they ask you to send it back to them ( postage is paid by them ).

Thats my 2 cents.

Thanks,

Sanam

I just joined yesterday and I love it already. I am a member of alot of the survey sites already but I have found new!
Another good survey site is nfo surveys. They are prompt with payment and I seem to get alot of surveys from them.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks,

I also am not interested in the mystery shopping. I could be wrong, but I believe it involves going out and shopping in the stores, which is something I can only do at night due to my severe allergies to perfume--and not many people are open then.

I do look through when I have time. I also don't pay attention to any that have locations that are not mine.

I have signed up for some, and some I have had no action from, so don't post anything. I will post as things come my way.

Thank you for all you're doing.

I think you are doing a great job. So much information. Your info into the mystery jobs must have been so time consuming!! The information on the surveys and panels is great too. I appreciated the Northern California posts, they were a bit of a drive for me and you have to pay a toll each time you go thru, but I was able to pass the information on to people who lived closer to the panel locations.
Thank you Thank you....

I love your posts. I have signed up with several of the survey sites that you have posted. Unfortunately, none of the studies are in cities that apply to me. Thanks for all your hard work!

Here's my 2 cents worth... I LOVE having this addition to Gottadeal! I belonged to most of the survey sites before the board began - but have found a few through you like Reward TV and Pinecone that have been AWESOME!!!!

The time and trouble you got to in order to bring lots of fresh sites to us is Wonderful! We LOVE Ya and thank you for all that you do!

Is anyone interested in helping me post surveys and research studies from craigslist? It is very simple. Go to craigslist.org That will take you the SF craigslist. If you scroll all the way to the right you will find a list of cities. Possibly, pick cities in your state? When you get to the list for that city scroll to the right and in the job section. Look in "ETC". There you will find the vast majority of the survey and research projects. Occasionally, you will find them in the part time job section. Or in the community section under "general" I haven't found them often enough to look. I haven't had the time to look either. Considering the number of posts I make. If only a couple people were willing to help me post, it would really help! Also, I wouldn't miss cities and states and possibly exclude some of you from Awesome Cash Earning Opps! Remember guys GottDeal T shirts are on their way! What better way to support our community And earn a few points towards you T shirt!

Or you could just post the links to Craigslist and the different pages on craigslist to look on and anybody that was interested could go to the link and look it up for themselves?

That ends up being the same amount of work. Why post just the links? They could just go there on their own all together. We Want People To Come Here To GottaDeal.

i had a quick question. I went to my local Craigslist to take a peek to see if there was anything and most of the stuff you have to reply to the post. It doesnt show any company information at all.. So are those even worth replying to? or is it probably one of those pyramid schemes? One post i read said if we click they're link they make two bucks and we go out and make our own links and whoever clicks on ours earns 2 bucks. which i'm not interested in any of that stuff....So if its a legit company would they have they're info available?

Yeah, this gets a bit tricky. After you have been doing it awhile you can spot the schemers a mile away.

Yes, Some of the research projects that ask you to reply to a craigslist addy Are legit.

The companies need to find a balance between giving out too much information and not enough information. This is for several reasons. I recently found out Columbia University has stopped accepting responses from anyone who used their links and took their surveys. The reason? Too many people taking the surveys and then retaking them from other email/PayPal addresses. You can have 8 (I believe) PayPal addresses. So multiply the 7 invalid surveys/stolen money by 5.00 = 25.00 1 person was STEALING. Now, multiply that by say 100 people pulling this B.S. That is A LOT of money plus the time, effort, and salaries, lost to the people running the surveys. Those of us that took the survey were Not Paid when some sleaze bags walked off with Stolen Money.

The other reason they have to be careful about how much information they give out is, too much prior information about a study, can affect/corrupt the results of studies.

Oh, I just remembered another reason. Many research companies hire people who sole job is to Screen Potential Survey/Research Participants. These people work from home over the internet. They are not given a corporate email or paid for an account. So they use craigslist.org where it is part of the package. They are also known to use free accounts with yahoo, gmail etc..

My best advice, read through a lot of my posts. Look for the ones where I have posted the Location. Those are the ones I have pulled from craigslist. Once you have gone through those posts you will begin to see the ones that are legit. (Please add the Location to the title if you post from craigslist)

Hey, there are a few in there that I am not certain about. When I post I put My Words in Red Text. Someone else uses blue. This is to make it easier for GottaDealers to differentiate My Words from those Of The Post. You will see I have said in more than one one post....."I am not too Sure about this one...." That's okay it happens. That is how we all learn. I will often apply to things just to check on their legitimacy. I then come back here and post what I have learned. Scored $75.00 that way. You will see one post where I went back after having posted it, only to remove the contact information because it was Just All Wrong. I think there are a couple where people have come back and said hey this isn't cool. Life is a lesson. Not to worry. You are welcome to PM me any post you may be uncertain of and I can give you my input. I am not perfect and I don't have all the answers. GottaDealers are Awesome People! They All Appreciate The Effort! It Isn't a magor deal if things are perfect. Those who think it is a big deal, don't seem to stay here very long.

Thank You So Much For Your Willingness To Help This Forum And Help GottaDealers! We Appreciate The Work You Are Willing To Do To Make Our Community Great!

another dumb one... I can't find it either. I looked under jobs and services, skimmed through the other stuff-- couldn't find anything referring to surveys. I've been looking at Craigslist daily, so looking for surveys to mention here would not be a problem for me.

You have to look in the "ETC" section.

Thanks-found it. Unfortunately, there's only 2 online things in my area and one is a bad listing IMO and the other has been listed here already.
