Columbia University's Center for the Decision Sciences is inviting you to participate in a survey on decision-making.

The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete. As payment for your participation, you will receive $5 wired directly into your PayPal account.

This study is being conducted under of the direction of Professor Michael Morris and Research Scholar Erica Carranza. Please note that you must be 18 years of age or older in order to participate in this survey. If you are not 18 years of age or older, you may not take part in this research.

Only problem is it never asked what my account was or any other identification.

This seems suspicious to me.

at the end it asked for email address associated with your paypal address.

When it asked for your email address it asked for the one associated with your paypal acct.:)

Columbia hosts surveys on a regular basis. There is nothing fishy about them at all. I have taken many, many, many, surveys for them. I am always paid when they say they will pay me. Were you given a box to input your email address? If you were given that box you were supposed to input the email address that is associated with your paypal account. That is all the information that is needed. In my post above there is an email address to contact Columbia U about this survey. If you are certain you were not given the opportunity to input your PayPal email address I would contact them and tell them so.
