Research Study at Penn

Doctors at the University of Pennsylvania are conducting a new study looking at the effects of a new medication on improving HDL cholesterol and other risk factors for diabetes and heart disease.
You would qualify for this study if YOU ARE
Between the ages of 18 and 80 with Low “good cholesterol” (HDL)
And have two of the following:
• Overweight
• High blood pressure
• High triglycerides
• Elevated blood sugar, but NOT DIABETES
The study lasts about 10 weeks
Includes 7 visits (including 2 overnight stays in the Clinical
Research Center at Hospital of University of Pennsylvania)
Participants will be compensated for their time and effort.
If you do not know your levels, we can measure them for you.
