View Full Version : My View Formerly Survey Direct AND Authentic Response
EDIT 3/9/2007 Since the date of this post the name of the company has changed to MyView. :g_shrug: Guess they didn't like the name Authentic response.
Survey Direct has changed their name. These guys pay on the average 2.00 a shot. I go through periods with them when I don't get anything, or very few surveys from them. This month, however, I have done 9 surveys since the beginning of the month. 9.00 x 2.00 18.00 extra bucks so far this month. That's ducky with me! I don't think the majority of the surveys are all that long. It takes 4 -8 weeks after The Close Of A Survey to get paid. They make individual payments for each survey rather than collecting a balance and paying survey takers all at once. So, I will receive 9 separate PayPal payment for the 9 surveys I have taken. I can't remember if this is one of the companies that has an agreement with paypal to Not take fee's from the survey takers deposit. Some companies have that arrangement. I just can't remember right now if these guys are one of them. I will look it up next time I check my paypal account.
As of March 20, 2006, Survey Direct® has changed their name to Authentic Response™. The core business, providing a highly permissioned online sample to the global market research community, will not change.
Select from a panel of more than 4 million high quality respondents.
Communicate with emerging segments, specific verticals, and hard to reach consumers.
Count on 10,000 new panelists to access every day, recruited from more than 400 partner websites.
More than 200 market research firms look to Authentic Response for their global online sample needs.

It's been a long time since I signed up. You may need to wait for a confirmation email to validate your email before you can complete a survey. Not certain though. Like I said, it's been a long time since I signed up.
iluvdeals 6-5-2006, 9:38 AM I thought I had just signed up. I clicked on the link to take the $2.00 survey and got this response:

Attention Potential New Members: This link Should take you to the new member survey page. I do not know if it is specific to my email address or not. So, it may not work. Good! Has anyone else tried to sign up? Has it worked for you?
kc#erica 6-16-2006, 1:46 AM I haven't gotten a reply yet so I went to the web page and it's saying I am not currently a pannelist and I couldn't find where to go to sign up. I tried clicking on the link you posted but it's not going to the same page it went to last time. I'll let you know if I figure out what's going on. I sent them an email.
I wrote to survey direct and asked them how I could refer my friends. I was given a link to a sign up on another board. I don't like posting about this other board because a lot of nonsense goes on over there and the owner has been verbally abusive about reposts and because I lost my password. He refuses to send it to me because I 'lost it too many times" I lost it once. I have not lost it this time. I know it. It just won't work. The guy is a nut.
I wanted to make certain you all got in on the chance to sign up. So I am going against my better judgement and personal disdain and posting it anyway.
Input the info into the yellow box. In awhile you will receive an email from Survey Direct. I Have tested the link!

readerof3 10-23-2006, 3:35 PM Hi I just got an email from a site called Survey Direct and it came through Webshots. Has anyone used this site before? It says I could get 2 dollars put into paypal and could qualify for 10 dollars. I'd like to try it but kinda afraid to.
Thanks for any help.
happygal 10-23-2006, 3:37 PM They are definitely legit and most often do pay $2. I have always been paid through paypal. They can be a bit slower to pay (around 8 weeks or so average) but are a good site. No need to worry about them.
readerof3 10-23-2006, 3:41 PM Thank you
Edgemonster 10-23-2006, 7:35 PM I get alot of surveys from them but don't seem to ever qualify.
love2beurwifey 10-23-2006, 10:37 PM I have never tried them but since everyone thinks they are so good I am going to try them out
Gloey 10-23-2006, 11:01 PM I belong to them, can't remember if they've paid off or not, but join.
cjs9473 10-24-2006, 7:03 AM I don't qualify for a lot of their surveys, but when I do, I've always gotten paid through PayPal. It does take a while for the payments to go through, though.
kc#erica 10-24-2006, 7:59 AM it's one of my favorites, it doesn't pay too much but this is one of the few sites i regularly get emails from and i always qualify and they pay with paypal
elena_398 10-24-2006, 10:44 AM They are legit. Im actually waiting on $8.50 in my paypal account. I keep getting qualified for surveys (not complain at all mind you). Takes awhile to show up in your paypal account though.
mmm40 10-24-2006, 11:15 AM it's one of my favorites, it doesn't pay too much but this is one of the few sites i regularly get emails from and i always qualify and they pay with paypal
Yeah, they don't pay too much per survey. Isn't it amazing when the payments stack up in your paypal account and suddenly you have 40.00 from the measly 2.00 surveys?
bsakalosky 10-24-2006, 7:27 PM Great Site!:yup:
jarerice 1-11-2007, 7:46 PM How do i log into my account and see my rewards?
You know what? I have never once done this. For some reason I didn't think we could. I have always recorded my earnings after every survey so I know what I have coming.
How do i log into my account and see my rewards?
This is what I do. When I get my confirmation from PayPal that the reward was deposited to my account, there is the info. That is what it says:
Subject: Here is your MyView Reward
Note: You have earned this reward through your participation in a MyView survey. Please see the Custom Note below for the Survey Date and your Confirmation ID.
To review the rewards you have earned from MyView, please visit the MyView Reward Center at http://rewards.MyView.com and click on the Reward Statement link (you will need to enter your email address and the Confirmation ID listed in the custom note below in order to login).
I hope it helps.

I got into Myview recently using the link posted above.
At first, you will receive the Myview surveys through a third party. After you complete each survey, however, there is a form to fill in with your name and email address for Paypal payment, and also your address and other info to enter you into a monthly drawing. At the bottom of that page, there is a box that reads something like "If you were referred to this survey by another site and would like to receive invitations directly from Myview, click here". I clicked, and soon received an email invitation from Myview. :)

The same things still happens to me. Months ago they told me it probably happened when they moved their site (switched servers) They said it would fix itself. It never has. As long as I get paid I don't much care.
macrophage 7-22-2007, 12:30 AM I got many survey invitations from them before. but now I Never got surveys from them for almost two months. Not sure it is just my case.:(
No, it is not just you. I also have so many surveys from them, and suddenly stopped. I was just wondering what happend.
I keep getting surveys from them, got several this week. Something like that happened to me several months ago, I stopped getting their surveys. I am sure that I did not unsubscribe, but anyway I subscribed again and it helped.
ljvoskuil 7-22-2007, 9:22 AM Does anyone know how I can get in? This sounds like a good one.

iceman1988 9-12-2007, 12:30 PM Folks, has anyone had any problems with MyView
I just called them up about 2 surveys I did [1 in May and 1 in June].
Even though I successfully completed both [and got screen shots of my confirmations], they still refused to pay because they claim that they reached the REQUIRED NUMBER OF USERS before I finished the survey.
Why should I even bother?
The rest of my comments will make a sailor cover his ears
Kash58 9-13-2007, 12:00 AM Yes, I have also had problems with them and receiving payments...I have sent them e-mails and that's the same response I got from them. The surveys I didn't recieve payments for were also in May and June, possibly even as far back as April. There were several that I had questioned them about....what can ya do? I kept pretty good notes......I thought. :g_shrug:
sassercc 11-1-2007, 10:42 PM Is it too soon for me to worry about not receiving payments from September 5?
judithra 11-1-2007, 11:11 PM Is it too soon for me to worry about not receiving payments from September 5?
they usually pay 8 weeks exactly from the day of survey completion, you should receive your payment on Oct 5, They always pay, just slow.. did you sign up for paypal as it is the quickest. very important to always keep the original invite with the survey ID number..
zingerhil 11-2-2007, 11:15 AM Hmm, I must have missed this one. I just used the link in post #68 to signup, thanks!

I receive a lot of surveys but DNQ for a lot and then have quite a few that I am waiting for payment on. Seems pretty good.

I just checked my spam fold and found tons of myview survies were filtered there. Certainly most of them have expired. So sad. :(
You might check your spam fold to see what happened.

Hey there stranger. Long time, no see! Good to "see" ya!
cjs9473 11-6-2007, 5:54 AM I think they are going through other companies instead of sending out their surveys directly, because I used to get surveys from them all the time and now I never get them. I have done surveys for them through other companies lately, though.
tiredmom214 11-16-2007, 1:51 PM Has anyone had problems with them paying out? I have done ALOT of surveys with them and have only been paid for one. When you complete a survey it states that you will receive your payment within 8 weeks. Many of the surveys were done almost 10 weeks ago. I sent them an email stating the above. This was the email I got back.
Hi
It takes anywhere from 8-10 weeks to receive payment. Thank you for your
patience
Thank you for your participation.
That was it. I have had problems with rewards not being credited to my account also and the email I get is always very short, not very helpful and sometimes rude. :( I emailed back and forth with them for so long over one survey I just gave up...it wasn't worth the five dollars anyore.

Tiredmom, do you save the original email invites? It's really hard to prove to them that you completed the surveys if you do not have the original invite and/or the survey ID number..

The same here, BUT what I happened upon was I signed into my home page and there were scads of surveys to take.. You might want to check yours
iceman1988 11-16-2007, 6:51 PM The key to MyView is always having that proof code ready [which is shown just before you send in the results of the survey] - Taking screen shots of them also don't hurt.
They'll only check on that
Because earlier this year I did a bunch of surveys for them, where at the end the survey said that they would e-mail me the proof codes, but never did, and I lost out on about $20.
Now I see the proof codes each time I check my account.

I had screen shots but not the email invite because it was one that was just on my myview homepage. The main problem that I am having is that there are surveys that are showing on my reward confirmation page, I am just not getting paid for them. It has almost been 10 weeks since completion. Anyway like I said they told me that een though it states on theier website 8 weeks it can take up to 10. So I guess I will wait a week or so longer.
sassercc 11-17-2007, 12:42 AM It's been about that long for me too tiredmom, sometime in September was my first one. I have quite a few on my reward page and my spread sheet that I keep record of that I am awaiting payment for.
zingerhil 11-17-2007, 11:12 AM I just joined at the beginning of the month and realized yesterday that all my invites were going to my spam folder. But thanks everyone for the hints about having to keep on top of them to get paid. :)

I contacted them today and got a prompt reply that they had problems with september payments and that they would go out this week. So hopefully the $$ starts coming on time as they seem to have a lot of surveys :cheesy:
slyandell 12-5-2007, 11:42 PM Thanks for the information. I have been watching mine and wondering what the deal was. I could use the $$ for a few more gifts.

sassercc 12-10-2007, 10:50 PM Well, a week has come and gone, and still no payments. Okay so I have $12 pending - it may not be much but it's my $$$. I sent them another email:
 :( :banghead: :gdboxer:
I have been in contact with your customer service a few times now but still have yet to receive my pending payments. I have payments dating back to September that still are pending. All of my pending payments should be paid because they are well past 6-8 weeks. Please let me know the date I can expect payment. It is getting irritating to hear that payment will arrive in 1 week but it never shows up.
Anxiously awaiting payment,
Chassie
Sedona 12-12-2007, 9:32 AM I also waiting for my september payment. hopefully they pay me soon.
tablsu 12-12-2007, 7:12 PM I quit taking surveys from them because I have not been paid yet.
tiredmom214 12-12-2007, 9:38 PM I am still waiting also. :(

zingerhil 12-13-2007, 12:54 PM Hmm... based off of everyone's experiences, I don't think I am going to continue completing surveys for them. I've only done a couple thus far.
I've done 3 for a total of $5.00.. we'll see if I ever get it...
iceman1988 12-13-2007, 2:44 PM I've done quite a few for them in the past
I got a whole bunch of Paypal certificates in the middle of October for some work in June and July and August
But not a peep from Paypal since then [and I'm getting bombarded with msgs every day from MyView.]
If they keep this stuff up, they're going into the G****F**** circular file
moonscape 12-17-2007, 7:43 PM i also wrote about rewards owed beginning early october and got the following reply. the whole thing is mighty fishy. what does september rewards have to do with backlogging things? it's a red herring - and stinks. plus, the phone number i got from the supposed customer service manager is the same one sassercc got for the 'customer service specialist.' direct line my patootie.
i didn't ask a thing about checking my rewards - only when i would get what was owed. there is no time-frame, and then extraneous information i didn't ask for. a boiler-plate reply.
they send out more surveys than anyone - something is very wrong since nobody seems to have gotten paid.

Hi
There was a problem with September rewards and it's been holding up
everything. We are aware of the problem and are working diligently to
fix the problem. Usually It takes anywhere from 8-10 weeks to receive
payment. We Thank you for your patience
You will only be able to view your reward statement if you have earned
cash reward. Please enter the email address you use when participating
in MyView surveys and click Submit. You will be sent a list of all of
the reward Confirmation IDs associated with that email account. You may
use any of your Confirmation IDs to login to the Rewards Statement.

tiredmom214 12-17-2007, 7:53 PM I have emailed and called several times. In fact I called them today. However no one answered, so I left message AGAIN. Same phone number that you received. They owe me over 60$!!!! I am beyond mad at this point. :gdangry3::censored::gdyelling:

Interesting don't you think.
moonscape 12-17-2007, 7:58 PM yeah, tiredmom, that's about what they owe me - a little over $70. and apart from a couple of $5 ones, that was earned the hard way, representing HOURS of my time.
they must be so bombarded with emails and calls at this point - i'll be surprised if i hear back from them at all.
moonscape 12-17-2007, 8:01 PM meant to add that's the name i got too, tiredmom - just failed to paste the whole email.
and maybe it's my mood, but he sounded smarmy on his voicemail ... :P

Well shoot. I didn't know it was a real word! TY
iceman1988 12-18-2007, 5:25 PM Can't believe the crap MyView just pulled
I had just completed a $5 survey on FedEx
When I went to check out, they gave me the white screen of death and a:
"We are sorry but your current ID is not a valid ID for this particular survey. If you feel you have arrived at this page in error, please send a request for investigation and indicate code=41 by clicking on the "Customer Service" link below."
WTF:
How did I get this freakin' survey in the first place if I wasn't qualified?
Is this their way of welching out of paying me????
I've been really patient over the past 3 months on waiting on the hundred or so dollars that they haven't paid, but this is BS!
I'm freakin' steamin'!
moonscape 12-19-2007, 11:27 AM something is definitely up with them. they send more surveys than anyone else, and they are paying nobody it seems.
i'll be shocked if they start paying.
These guys have been around many years. I am not prepared to give up on them just yet. I have made thousands of dollars with them without incident. For now, I am accepting their explanation and giving them the benefit of the doubt.
iceman1988 12-19-2007, 6:47 PM Don't know about anyone else
But I just got 3 miniscule paypals from them a few moments ago
They were for surveys done over 3 months ago
Compared to the last batch which they paid out in less than 8 weeks.
tablsu 12-19-2007, 7:04 PM I have finally received all of my September payments just now from them so I guess I will stay with them because they did pay me well
moonscape 12-19-2007, 7:44 PM yeah! congrats! that's wonderful news - i won't stop doing them then if eventually they'll come through. they do send more surveys than anyone!

zingerhil 1-5-2008, 2:13 PM Hey guys, I received this email a couple of days ago and just barely got around to opening it. They've changed their payment method. Does this mean we now have to have $25 before cashing out?
--------------------------
On behalf of everyone here at MyView, we would like to wish you and your family a very Happy New Year!
We are looking forward to an exciting and rewarding 2008 - we have some great surveys lined up, and we are excited about improving your survey experience with MyView.
There are some important changes in store for 2008 that we would like to share with you. The biggest change is the release of the new MyView Reward System that you will soon see on certain surveys with incentives.
Our new program will now reward you with MyView Dollars instead of individual PayPal payments. One MyView Dollar is worth the equivalent of $1.00, so our incentives are worth the same to you as they always have been. The difference is that you will have a new MyView Reward Center to visit and see the status of your incentives.
Instead of being paid one reward at a time, active members will now accumulate MyView Dollars for each successfully completed survey that offers MyView Dollars as an incentive. Once an active members reaches 25 eligible MyView Dollars, he/she must visit the Reward Center to redeem his/her reward - and we will pay in the same manner as we always have, with the same great PayPal service, unless he/she selects another reward (if offered).
How does this benefit you?
Our new Reward System will allow us to offer you more surveys that will offer you rewards for your valuable time.
Additionally, the new payment process will allow us to streamline our payments to you.
What happens to all the rewards I have already earned?
Don't worry. Any reward that was earned prior to the new system launch will still be paid out under the normal manner. You will still be able to check the status of these new rewards under the Archive section of the new Reward Center. When you visit the new Reward Center for the first time, be sure to check out the Help buttons to familiarize yourself with the new process.
Additionally, if you have not yet signed up and joined the MyView Portal, please click here:
http://c.dsite.us/y?c=1MFkd-Zuf.APHyrj.DP0.0&_invid=119410197414913
Already a member? Log in and check out what's new!
If you would like to know a bit more, please visit the FAQ link that will be provided with surveys that offer the new MyView Dollars, and which will be found in the new Reward Center.
Once again, Happy New Year and thank you for your continued loyalty and support.
Sincerely,
The MyView Team

lowmerc1 1-5-2008, 3:50 PM That's what it sounded like to me too...just read this one in my email today....So I guess you can't accumulate money and cash out big...LOL!
moonscape 1-6-2008, 2:43 AM having to accummulate $25 was disappointing, but what troubled me even more was the wording in their FAQ that credits wouldn't be posted for a month, and that they call them 'Approved MyView Dollars.' maybe because of how they are so behind in paying, i wonder if we'll have to be challenging in =a month= surveys that never show up somehow. why would it take a month to be posted?
guess this change is so they can pocket the dollars people don't redeem because they haven't reached $25. just hope we don't stop qualifying suddenly when we have $24 in our account...
The sky is not falling. Let's not make assumptions without basis and that have no logic to support them.
Why, after all these years and with a hard earned excellent reputation would they decide "Hey, lets start screwing people over and start not paying them" That simply does not make sense. This change does make sense. You can follow the logic to a conclusion that is both logical and positive for both parties. That is more than can be said for many companies who's changes are positive only for them.
First, it's very easy to accumulate $25.00 with this company. Granted, you have to complete more surveys with this company than you do with others to reach $25.00. By no means is this the only company like that.
Second, It isn't uncommon for it to take several weeks for a survey to be credited to your account. The survey must actually close. Then they need to validate the surveys. Then they worry about processing the ID's and crediting peoples accounts. There are many more things that go on during this process that are not relevant to our being paid but still require time and effort. The day you complete the survey is not when the timer starts to tick down on when credit will be given. That starts when The Survey Closes. 4 weeks is actually a shorter length of time than they have been crediting surveys. For years it has been 8 - 10 weeks.
Cashing out at 25.00 saves them money. They do not need to spend money on man hours processing payments because they won't have to pay people as frequently as they have been. It also saves them money because when they have been paying us via PayPal they have assumed the fees on every transaction. I'm sure PP has given them a break but it's still a significant amount of money. Premier PP accounts charge 2.9% interest And a .30 fee per transaction. There have been months when I have received 40 payments. Lots of 1.00 and 2.00 payments in there but still a great deal of time and effort goes into processing each individual payment. Say I did 40.00 in surveys @<hidden> 1.00 a pop. That is 40. transactions they have to make. With this new method I cash at at $25.00. That is one transaction. Logically, which takes less time? Which is simpler? Less time + simpler = faster = less money for them.
Third, Yep, we will need to keep track the surveys we take. We have had to do it all along. We should be doing this with all companies not just this one. The only difference now is it will be easier to keep track of them. We can easily match up our confirmation numbers with the ones they have listed in our rewards account. We can see exactly which ones are in there and which ones need to be put in there and which ones we can check off when paid. Prior to this we have had to keep records and check every single individual PayPal payment against our records. That was far more tedious than this new method.
So, just keep on, keeping track of the surveys you complete. Something people should have been doing all along. Keep on checking them against your account. Something else you should have been doing all along. Enjoy the new, simpler way there is to do this task. Lets not get dramatic about them not paying us. Especially since we have no logical reason for thinking or saying that. They have been around a very long time and have an excellent reputation. I highly doubt they have suddenly decided to start ripping people off.
moonscape 1-6-2008, 4:41 PM i understand. i'm not as experienced with surveys and my opinion was based on basic business models outside the realm of this category. not honoring their statements of payment dates, even approximately, simply raises a red flag, particularly since 60 days is well within the window of accounts receivable.
but i have no quarrel with anything you said, just raising questions borne from frustration over not having received payment for 90 days now.
zingerhil 1-7-2008, 11:56 AM My only gripe is the $25 minimum cashout. I don't get many surveys from MyView, and when I do, I very rarely qualify for them. At the rate I've been earning with them it will be well over a year before I reach $25.
Really? I get tons of emails from them. Have you filled out the profile surveys?
moonscape 1-7-2008, 6:23 PM i agree with you on the cash-out amount - i see many do this. would seem more fair to have that policy for those who are members, but have the option to unsubscribe, close out one's account perhaps even with the caveat one couldn't sign back up for a year or something. that would save the company money over having to disperse payment for every survey, but also honor payment for time spent.
i qualify for a lot of myview surveys so the amount isn't a problem for me, but there are other companies where it will/would be.
iceman1988 1-8-2008, 5:39 PM I wouldn't even mind the whole $25 cash out minimum
But the last 2 surveys I did with them, [one for $5 and the other for $10], there have been errors in getting my info logged.
I sent them details of what happened and MyView doesn't correct my account, but I don't get any replies
It's bad enough that they all of a sudden decide to go from a 2 month pay period to a 4 month one, but now they're not even logging my results.
Going to the bottom of the list for me
sassercc 1-10-2008, 12:28 AM Received October payments tonight, didn't even think they would be coming since they have changed over to the $25 min cash out.

When this happens I use the "back" button on my browser. Click next and see if you get the correct page. Sometimes I have had use the back button 3 times before I was able to enter my information and successfully submit the survey. I has worked for me. Quite often too.

They can't find mine either. I emailed them and they basically said they might or might not be able to fix it. I'm not doing any surveys for them until they have it figured out.
I did that, I click many times using the back button but it will just return to the blank page and I already sent them a couple of letter before since this happened 3 times already. And the last one, when I click to submit my complaint it went blank again, duhhhh!
I finally received a letter from Myview, I'm just relieved now, knowing that they are doing something about it.
Here's the letter

iceman1988 2-29-2008, 3:21 PM I've been noticing something really weird
Recently I've been getting some decent paying surveys from MyView
Every 2nd or 3rd time, after I complete the survey, I don't get taken back to MyView
Or the MyView link crashes
Or I get to put in my details but I don't get a confirmation #
This has happened 5 times in the past 3 months
And I've told their Customer Service folks this each time, but i have never gotten a confirmation number saying that I completed the survey nor do they show up in my records. And 2 of those screw ups were for $10 surveys and 2 for $5 surveys.
Don't know whether I should stick with them [high paying surveys and a decent # of them] or leave [because they screw up my rewards ]
wondering if anyone else is having the same problem
The link must be user specific, cause when I just tried to use it, it said this link has already been used.

yeah, i am. this happened with two of mine and after a few back-'n-forth emails, i was told i'd be credited. one of them showed up, the other hasn't but i'm giving it a few more days.
i'm not sure what's going on w/ their glitchy software but it's annoying for sure.

sassercc 3-16-2008, 5:42 PM If you don't typically sign into your myview account, you may want to. I only signed in to check on how many myview dollars I had. Once there, I had quite a few survey opportunities waiting on the page. I ended up qualifiying for several and ended up get $9 myview dollars. All the surveys were fairly short. This helped out a great deal since you now have to have $25 myview dollars before payment can be requested. I am at $18 so hopefully, I'll make the $25 mark fairly soon!!!!

Welcome!
Has anyone had their points approved since the new system went into effect?
I just signed up with them. I just did a survey and then check and it shows that my myview dollars are there. The only way that I could check was using the id number off the last survey that I took. I couldn't go in and bring it up without it because of a technical difficulty they are having. :)
I still haven't had any of my dollars approved since they did the new system in January. I was wondering if anyone else had yesterday. I have $42 in there and would LOVE to be paid on some of it.
Have been paid twice since December ended. But now I have a small balance since may of their new surveys do not have a monetary reward.

I haven't either, I have $46 in there and all of it still says pending.

beachbum2555 4-4-2008, 2:08 PM I just checked my account and all the surveys through the end of February were approved. I cashed out for $42!!
sassercc 4-5-2008, 11:12 PM Something weird is going on. Last time I checked my account I had $18 pending. Now it says $15. Either way, I should have $42. Anyone have success contacting customer service. If so, what's the contact info.
Thanks a bunch!!
SandraJean 4-6-2008, 12:21 PM I have $42.00 pending too. When do you receive it?
sassercc 4-8-2008, 4:45 PM Customer service #212.905.5500 x212
I have 2 1 dollar denied and 5 dollar denied, I don't know what's up with that, I read that it says might be a violation on one of the "terms", I just emailed them, I hope to hear from them soon.

Can someone try to find me an email or contact info for this company please since i cant click anywhere on the website..thanks!
dansgal 4-14-2008, 12:13 PM I have been having the same problem. customerservice@<hidden> I just emailed them two days ago and still waiting for a response.
his_lil_gemini 4-14-2008, 12:57 PM TY!
I've about had it with them too. They owed me well over $20.00 before the switch to the new program. I am never going to see that money. Links have pooped out on me convienantly After I have completed the survey but before I get to the confirmation page and take a screen shot. Screen shots don't necessarily mean anything anymore because they pull that "We will not be crediting your account............blah, blah. blah. "They might just as well come right out and say "Ha Ha we're not paying you................... SUCKER!!!" Naw, they couldn't do that because then we could just go to the BBB. I may file with the BBB anyway. I am honest in my survey taking. I read everything and give honest answers. They don't seem to be willing to do the same anymore. That's sad. They has such a good reputation for so many years. It's quickly going down hill and word is going around on the net that this is how they now operate. Sleazy. Seriously, how sleazy do you have to be to scam someone for a lousy $1.00 payment. I say quit taking their surveys and wait for the same surveys to come through sites that do pay us. I do tons of surveys for a company we will call Bluefield Online. (Not their real name :p ) They dinked so many people around for so many years they have to get their surveys done by contracting them out to other companies. Now we finally get paid for doing their surveys and they lose money. Sheesh. Seem like it would be easier for them just to be honest and pay people what they owe them!!!
sassercc 4-14-2008, 4:15 PM I just told my husband that I am on a myview strike until I get my $42. I checked my account last week and had two studies denied: one for $1 the other for $3. I contacted customer service and he said he didn't see any reason why I should have been denied for these. He told me to give it a month. I am not taking anymore until this is resolved.
iceman1988 4-15-2008, 2:08 PM I was just going over my MyView missing rewards list
I'm up to $32 in surveys which I had completed but for some reason [because I wasn't sent back to the MyView Site, or the MyView site decided to have a server error, etc] I was not able to get a Confirmation Number
After I sent an e-mail to MyView detailing all of the missing survey rewards, I did the same to Survey Police.
Hope I get a response. I've only been fighting this since last Christmas
zingerhil 5-3-2008, 1:34 PM I've had great luck with these guys for the last couple weeks. I'm not sure what happened, before this I was always DNQ'd. Just did a $10 one :)
iceman1988 5-3-2008, 4:46 PM I spent the previous 2 days filling out a diary for MyView
When I went to enter my details as IntelliSurvey, I was told that they already had enough people send in their details and that they no longer required my diary, but that they would have MyView pay me $5
When I was taken back to MyView and filled in my details, MyView said that I DNQ'd and wasn't going to be paid $0.00.
Am I getting confused in my definition for FRAUD or did I just get scammed?
I've had pretty good luck with them. Since they've changed it's been a little better, but it takes some time to get approvel. You can't get it till you have $25 It also seems to work better with pay pal. I just recieved $34 since Jan. and have $18 pending. Last year I only got $44 I would say to try again. Also their serveys are all pretty quick. The average is 15 min.Average is $2-3 some less some more

Screenshots screenshots screenshots. I take LOTS of them. It's hard for a company to argue with you if you have a screenshot backing you up.
Did you try contacting them?
iceman1988 5-5-2008, 7:47 AM Zingerhill,
It's really hard to take screenshots when you don't know whether you need to take a screenshot [ie: I know I should have taken a screenshot of that $5 screen, but how could I expect that MyView would all of a sudden decide on not paying ANYTHING]
Not that it would have mattered much
In the previous times that I've had problems with MyView and I've sent them a screenshot, I've never gotten a response from them. They are about as responsive as Lightspeed if Lightspeed was run by Dick Cheney.

And yes, I've already contacted them. Considering that it happened on Saturday, I'll wait for today for a reply.
I've yet to get a realistic reply from MyView in the past and they have yet to adjust my rewards in the past in any way.
Can't expect anything from them :yuck:

I'm sorry, that really sucks. :( Luckily I haven't had any really bad experiences with them yet.

Knock on wood
I've had a lot of problems with MyView, especially with the fact that you have to go back to their site to get a confirmation number.
If you don't get it, you're screwed :yuck:
Even if you contact them via e-mail or via their website, they never get back to you
As bad as Lightspeed and their non-existent customer service
blackberrybunny 5-6-2008, 10:03 PM I'm $3 away from the $25 cashout. I'm having a hard time getting those last 3 dollars. It's like tryng to lose those last ten pounds....
his_lil_gemini 6-9-2008, 12:12 PM Okay the other day hubby got an email invite and when he clicks the link it tells him he is no longer panel member that they changed some things and for him to look for future invites. I still get my invites and they work fine. He use to get quite a few from them now nothing..anyone else have this happen
zingerhil 6-11-2008, 10:47 PM Woohoo, they just approved almost all of my pending surveys. I just cashed out for $41 :D
I also just got approved.From 4/19 thru 5/28 I made $54 Yeah!
Thank God for pay pal :D
You may want to look out for a Product Testing Survey, it brings you to a new panelist site that has home product testing and suveys.:)
racerfan 6-12-2008, 9:52 PM I also just got approved.From 4/19 thru 5/28 I made $54 Yeah!

I have a question. When you guys get paid for surveys to Paypal, Do you get charged a fee like when you receive money for selling something on Ebay for example. Just wondering if I should use paypal to receive survey money too or continue to get checks. Thanks
alimfp 6-12-2008, 10:16 PM Can someone tell me where to sign up? I looked at post #66 but the link doesn't take you to a sign up for THIS one. It takes you to a list of survey sites (which I don't see My View listed on?) and a sign up for Volition's newsletter?
Thanks.

I know it looks screwy but that is the correct place to sign up. The first email will be from volition asking you too confirm. Then you will receive nothing but My View emails using this. I promise. :)

The majority of survey companies absorb the fees so we don't get hit with them. I can't think of any companies off hand that don't absorb the feels though.

Oh okay. I thought it was just a sign up for their newsletter and that was it. :) THANKS!
About pay pal, I've never been charged anything. It also good if you want to buy something online and you don't want to use your credit card or debit, it's very secured. It makes a direct deposit into your bank account also. Saves having to go to the bank and also I know some of the sites charge you for them giving you a check. You can also apply for pay pal credit card.Just log on to it and it will explain how to do everything. It'
s very easy.
zingerhil 7-3-2008, 10:23 AM Alright guys, I requested $41 on 6/11 and for a while it said that it was "pending payment". About a week ago I logged in to check on my rewards and my totals were all screwy. I emailed customer service and was told that it was just a rewards glitch and that everything would be fixed shortly.
Well, I just logged in to check on it, and the $41 was marked back as "approved" and I had to request a payment all over again! Very irritating. It looks like it's now going to take an extra 3 weeks to get the money I requested last month :( Has anyone else had this issue recently?
I haven't emailed customer service yet but I plan on doing it soon to complain.
I am going through the same thing. My rewards are for the month of April! The only reason I keep doing them is you can make around $40 a month and the surveys are usually around 15 minutes. Also it saves the hassle of getting all those $3 checks all the time.
sassercc 7-3-2008, 11:02 AM I have been having problems with them for quite awhile. I have done a survey with them since I never received credit for the $25 myview dollars. I get surveys from them everyday and just delete them. I feel I shouldn't be wasting my time with companies that don't want to credit your account or pay :(

:(
I am getting a little bit nervous. They owe me ~$70 and I'm going to be really bummed if I never get it.
jackme2008 7-4-2008, 8:27 PM I miss my payment on June , when I want to go to the reward web to know the details , I found I cann't enter into it with my Paypal email and the id , what's wrong with it , I still receive new survey from my view , anyone like me?
The same thing happened to me. Then I did a new one that was in my mail and got a new confirmation number and it worked. For some reason the confirmation numbers that are pending aren't working. I emailed them and asked when am I going to be paid? Still waiting. Maybe Monday every one is off for a four day week end
zingerhil 7-11-2008, 11:28 AM I finally received a response from the email I sent on the 3rd, but it didn't exactly answer my question. Like I mentioned above, I had to re-request payment, and I wanted to know if that was just a glitch or if my payment would be delayed even more. This was their response:
May payments are being paid today. June requests are halfway through being processed. Thank you for your patience!
Okkk, that's great... but I still don't know when I will be paid. I originally requested payment in June but had to re-request in July. I guess I'll get it when I get it.
pabuster 7-11-2008, 11:29 PM My View stinks...about 2 weeks ago I finally reached the approved $25(actually $26)...acouple of days later I tried to re-check my balance & it told me "the email address or confirmation# was incorrect.I saved ALL of my payments received from them so I tried ALL of them....same response. I emailed customer service 8 or 9 times(what a waste) and told them of my problem & what do I get? I got 1(yes 1 out of 9) standard letters telling me "to check your rewards balance enter your email address & use any of the old confirmation numbers you saved"...BIG HELP...I actually called NY & got a voice mail!!!! NO HUMAN CONTACT AT THIS PLACE
I finally got mine!! :cheesy:The last time I e mailed them they said payments were being processed on the third week so keep checking
zingerhil 7-12-2008, 12:42 PM I finally got mine!! :cheesy:The last time I e mailed them they said payments were being processed on the third week so keep checking
Do they email you when you are rewarded or do you have to keep checking the site?
I'm glad that you got yours :)
I received an email through Site systems for Pay Pal that it was in my account it was my rewards for April.! I also see on another forum that it's been going on with a lot of other people and other people received theirs today also. Hang in there. I'm sure you'll get yours It just takes forever!!!
zingerhil 7-16-2008, 10:30 AM Well, they finally answered my question and it looks like I will have to wait longer for the $41 I requested in June. :( This is the first time I've cashed out with them and it has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Your payment will be processed as a July request. This has happened to a few portal members as we switch systems. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Madettica 7-18-2008, 9:37 AM Hi, I just joined Myview and was wondering if anyone had had this problem and could tell me how to fix it
I login to my account and try yo take the opinion surveys or personailty surveys...or try to click on my profile or account info and all it does is ask me to log in again...I can't do anything but take the surveys it sends me via email or check my rewards status
I emailed customer service 3 days ago and still no help
If anybody has any advice it would be great
dancglady 7-18-2008, 11:29 AM There are better companies out there. This one is going down hill fast. I had that problem when i joined then they fixed that and there were other problems. Read the above posts!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!
zingerhil 7-25-2008, 10:07 PM Yay, finally got my $41 today.
Congratulations! :D With my experience they do eventually pay, it just takes forever!
