View Full Version : Survey Spot (merged)
I just received and finished a 5.00 survey from them. I timed it so I could tell you all. It took exactly 13 minutes! 5.00 for 13 minutes is Just Ducky with me! At the end of the survey they gave me the link for new people to sign up. So they want people. If you want cash go sign up. Good Luck with them!
These guys are pretty good. I only get a few surveys every few months. None have been under 5.00. It takes 4 - 8 weeks to get paid after taking a survey but You Do Get Your Money. I think you can choose How they pay you. Check or Paypal. Don't quote me on it though.

knb080998 5-11-2006, 1:58 PM I've been a member for awhile and my last check was $15!
lennon2004 5-11-2006, 2:02 PM This one does pay, but the ones I've been getting recently have almost all been for "prize drawings", not guaranteed money, just fyi.

mitchandalisha 5-11-2006, 3:41 PM thanks
dineaux 5-11-2006, 3:54 PM I have only been doing surveys for them for about 2 months and have already received $35.00. Make sure you check to see if you have any unclaimed prizes every so often. I had 10.00 in there the other day. I also do a lot of their little 2 - 5 minute surveys but leave the rest alone unless they pay.
Shortness 5-11-2006, 4:50 PM Thanks, I signed up, but when I went to create a password, they said my email didn't exist. Hmmm...???
Wormwood 5-11-2006, 4:59 PM Thanks!
elena_398 5-11-2006, 6:50 PM Thanks. I signed up
mldepalma 5-12-2006, 11:09 AM signed up, thanks!!!
elena_398 5-12-2006, 11:10 AM Did 3 surveys for them in the last few days, but all for prize drawings.
lennon2004 5-12-2006, 12:52 PM Make sure you check to see if you have any unclaimed prizes every so often.
Thanks for the reminder, I had $5 in there. :)

Yeah, I no longer do surveys for any company unless they pay cash. Or they send me a product to test. I am not going to spend time doing a non paying survey when I could have a paying one sitting in my mailbox that gets filled up and I miss out because I was doing one for free. When they ask for feedback, I always tell them I don't do non paying ones and the reason why.
If more people would refuse to do non paying surveys they would be forced to change the way they pay. These guys get paid on a per response basis. Even if they charge their customers a flat fee you bet your butt they figure that flat fee based on the number of responses they process.

Yeah, that is why I slowed off with Survey Spot. I have gotten, I thin, $18 in a year from them, but there can be SO many surveys...quite long surveys, too... that give you a chance at something. My time is too valuable for that.
At least Harris Poll offers points for every survey. But if the survey is too long (and how many of you have done those "purchase" surveys where you fill in from 1-10 on 50 items on a page, then do it again for another purchase ) I will bail out.
Joanne
Exactly. I had my boyfriend signed up with them a while ago but it was nothing but SWEEPSTAKES survey's. Got sick of that and left the site. Was only on there for maybe a month. Yeah i know, thats waaaaay too little time to tell things but i got sick of the sweepstakes crap. At least give points and i told them they would be good to update their site better. To me it looks cheap.

Harris poll gave a a real long one the other day. But they gave me the option at the beginning to do the short one for 75 points or the long one for 300 points. I did the long one in 2 sittings.
Seriously people! RALLY TOGETHER! Don't Do Non Paying Surveys! It's not enough to refuse to do them. Make certain to write the companies and TELL THEM Your time is too valuable! Too many sites are willing to pay you! You won't lose out on a paid survey because you were busy doing one for free while the paying one got filled up. They get enough of this and they will Have To Pay US!!!
I feel like Norma Ray! LOL!
I finally qualified to try out a product. yay.
Should be here in 5-7 days.
Still haven't come across one from this place that actually PAYS.
I have noticed survey they have sent me 3 -4 times that I don't do and are for drawings sometimes come around as Paid survey. Sure looks like they pay up when/if they can't get people to do the survey for drawings. I'm telling ya...don't do the surveys for drawings.
bugsette 6-3-2006, 6:50 PM signed up
chinacat 6-3-2006, 7:25 PM Signed up, must have missed this one first time around.
I tend to get all the sweeps entry ones.. I delete them.
ginger19 10-26-2006, 9:04 PM i cant find a link to it and i cant get my comp to load the page so if you have the link can you gice it to me please
lennon2004 10-26-2006, 9:23 PM http://www.surveyspot.com ? (It's loading slow for me atm, maybe that's why you're having problems?)
lawork 10-26-2006, 9:38 PM I signed up for them a while ago. Almost all of the surveys are for sweepstakes. VERY few are for money or certificates.
Just within two weeks I did 4 surveys worth $11. Too bad that account gets credited 4-6 weeks. :(
buddy72192 10-26-2006, 9:56 PM I like this site, I just made $8 today

elena_398 10-27-2006, 11:29 AM I have over $10 Im waiting on.
tyler99199 10-27-2006, 2:01 PM I just cashed out for a little over 20.00.
whafs8 10-27-2006, 5:55 PM I use it alot but most of mine is product testing which is normally food. So I really like that.
ginger19 10-27-2006, 6:19 PM ok thanks everyone. for some reason my computer hates me and sucks badly.. so i went to the libary and got it done. so now i cashed out so yeah!!!
shearm 10-28-2006, 10:48 AM I almost always get money surveys from here. Just cashed out 3 times in a matter of a week or so for 50+, 17 and another 17.
elena_398 10-28-2006, 12:13 PM Good grief, I thought it was only $10 so I clicked on the survey spot link to just check. Signed in, clicked on rewards and I had $45! Crap. Needless to say I just cashed out
cotejb 10-28-2006, 1:33 PM Reading this made me think to see how much I have accumulated lately so I went and cashed out for $20 :)
jkwife 10-30-2006, 11:56 AM I signed up for them a while ago. Almost all of the surveys are for sweepstakes. VERY few are for money or certificates.
Same with me. I tried it for a while, but finally cancelled.
Mommax2in2006 11-2-2006, 11:49 AM The Headliner in your email is Haircare Survey, But It leads to a possible PT thought I would give you all a heads up.
abailey10 11-28-2006, 11:52 AM I requested a check back at the very beginning of the month...any idea how long it will take to get to me? It says 4-6 weeks on the site, didn't know if that held true, or if they tended to go longer or shorter. Any experience with getting paid by them?
Thanks!!
limabean718 11-28-2006, 12:05 PM I've cashed out with them a few times already. One time, it came within a week. The other times the check took longer...but definitely not longer than 6 weeks. Hopefully, you'll get your payment before the holidays!! Good luck!!
mmm40 11-28-2006, 12:18 PM I've had them take 6 -8 weeks before. They have also come within a week. :g_shrug:
lancensheri 11-28-2006, 12:55 PM I requested a pay out on October 2 and they just sent my check on November 16 It took longer than I had remebered from previous pay outs!
tyler99199 11-28-2006, 2:19 PM I requested a check on 10/24 and they issued it 11/15.
Does the amount of the request ever have anything to do with the speed of getting paid?

I haven't noticed a difference in time it takes to be issued. I have figured out they send checks the beginning of the month and the middle of the month. Sometimes, the very end of the month. The end of the month payment isn't always a given. I haven't been able to pin down the variable with the end of the month payments....yet. :) They also do not send on the same days at the beginning and the middle of the month.
Panda Girl 11-28-2006, 5:21 PM I didn't know you had to request a check?! Oh well I only have $5 in the pot and that was from Junly.
But all I get from them is a 16million redundant question survey and they will enter my name in a drawing (yea right)
I've gotten where I delete most of them

elena_398 11-28-2006, 6:11 PM cashed out a few weeks ago and got my $57 check the other day. I always forget to cash out so it accumulates quickly.
tyler99199 11-29-2006, 7:46 AM I only take their paying surveys.
I am the same way.
Panda Girl 11-29-2006, 3:00 PM I only take their paying surveys.
Good I'm glad to know that. I figured if I took a few of the freebies they would include me in the paid ones. But obviously that's not working!!!
I will delete from now on.
tburns29466 11-29-2006, 5:28 PM The only ones I ever get is the sweepstakes.....
Panda Girl 11-30-2006, 2:45 PM I just did one for $3 a car survey. I think this is the 3rd time they have asked me to do this one. And one question. What car would you definenlty not consider? I ALWAYS check Ford and never get the survey. This time I only checked Kia and Hyandi and got the survey. And wouldn't you know it it was for a new Ford car. I gave them all Stinkin reviews. Ford Company (car's are okay) but the company it's self stinks.
They have made some very liberal decisions lately that they refuse to backoff and say in your face people we will do WHATEVER we want to. Well we say in your face right back. That's why there sales are soo far down
I know more than you wanted to know.
asilenceblossom 11-30-2006, 2:52 PM What site are we referring to?

Survey Spot
cotejb 11-30-2006, 7:23 PM It really just depends for me...One time it took 3 weeks and another time it took about 6...I usually try not to worry about it and then when it comes in its a great surprise. :)
abailey10 12-1-2006, 2:17 PM Thanks for the info...I'll keep an eye on my mailbox! I requested the check on 11/2, hopefully it will get here soon!
tyler99199 12-2-2006, 12:19 PM I believe you can track your payment when you log in to there site.
abailey10 12-2-2006, 2:55 PM YEAH! I got it in the mail today!
YEAH! I got it in the mail today!
Congrats! In plenty of time time to do holiday shopping! That wasn't a real long wait! Enjoy the extra cash!

I have been with "survey Spot" for about a year.I have always recieved the checks I was promised; but it took about 4 weeks.
kmbrly 1-13-2007, 11:54 PM I did a survey for SurveySpot today and qualified. When I completed the survey, it said $5 had been added to my account.
I'm looking all around on SurveySpot.com and can't find anything about $5 anywhere. Can anyone familiar with this company suggest what I could/should do, or how to collect??
davidsjulie 1-14-2007, 12:07 AM It can take 4-6 weeks for your money to be credited to your account.
Minimum payout is $5 - by check.
Have you used the link at the end of the survey to create your account? If you have never received a paying survey from them you will need to do that.
If you have, click on "Review your unclaimed rewards" If any have been credited to your account they will be in there. It takes 4- 6 weeks for payments to be credited to your account.
kmbrly 1-14-2007, 12:20 AM Unclaimed rewards
We are sorry, but you have no unclaimed rewards.
Ok, so I guess it's nothing I did wrong. It just takes forever. Not sure I'm going to like this one. LOL
Thanks for the quick responses.

Stick with them. I do very well. I have 53.00 in my account now and I am waiting on another 50 -60 to be credited. 4 -6 weeks is pretty average.
kmbrly 1-14-2007, 12:28 AM I've never done one for SurveySpot for cash, this was the first. I guess I'm just so used to Pinecone and the $5 checks every week, or more often. I do the PayPal thing now with Pinecone and just wait for the email saying it's there. ;)

Wish i could find pinecones elusive banner ad :/ maybe one day
zingerhil 1-14-2007, 4:22 PM Wish i could find pinecones elusive banner ad :/ maybe one day
Seriously! I've pretty much given up hope.
twinkletoe59 1-27-2007, 12:14 PM Has anyone won any sweepstakes from survey spot. I keep doing the surveys and get points for sweepstakes. Any one got cash? I never qualify.
zingerhil 1-27-2007, 12:36 PM I've never won sweepstakes, but I did just cash out for $36.
lori421962 1-27-2007, 12:45 PM Hi am pretty new here in your forum but saw this and wanted to post. I won a $25.00 gc to buy.com from them over a week ago. They send them out to you right away in your e-mail when you win. So far that's all I have won except 100 , 25, ad the good ole 5 entries in their sweeps.
I very rarely do the sweeps one. I make a decent amount of money from them each month.
lennon2004 1-27-2007, 1:36 PM I get cash surveys fairly often. I have $6 waiting in my account now that I've made this month, but I'm going to leave it in there a bit.
I've been wondering why I have gotten no cash surveys...only chances of winning $25K. I finally realized that I hadn't set up a password for my account yet. I was really ready to give up on this thing!
limabean718 2-1-2007, 3:08 PM I've never won anything on their sweeps...except the good ol' 5, 25, and 100. But, I just checked and I've made about $70 with them since October. I don't always qualify for the better paying ones, but I keep trying! The way I see it is that's $70 more than I had when I started! :tongue1:

Yeah, I darn near peed my pants when I saw 100 100 100
Pffttt...100 entries. I want 100 cash. :(
debwestmi 2-2-2007, 7:59 AM LOL, I got that triple 100 one too and about peed my pants, then I realized it was dumb points. BOO! :yuck:
memaof2 2-13-2007, 11:32 AM are you still doing the surveys here, now that you only get changes to win?
judithra 2-13-2007, 11:36 AM are you still doing the surveys here, now that you only get changes to win?
Ive gotten so, not only with survey spot but with several others that just offers sweepstakes, that I do not bother with them unless I am particularly bored.. I guess it is up to the individual..
DramaQueenLucy 2-13-2007, 11:37 AM Sometimes but I am not sure that I will continue to do them I very rarely win.
jarerice 2-13-2007, 12:12 PM i like survey spot.
lennon2004 2-13-2007, 12:37 PM Yes, because it's not *only* chances to win. They still have paying surveys. I pass up the ones that don't pay, but with the ones that do I go ahead and do the chance to win at the end too. :)
jarerice 2-13-2007, 12:44 PM Yes they do still have paying surveys!!! And make sure you check your unclaimed money. I had 15.00 that I didn't know about. And they send PTs.
knb080998 2-13-2007, 12:53 PM I am still getting paid surveys with SurveySpot.
mam627 2-13-2007, 12:53 PM I signed up with Survey Spot about a month age and have already cashed out for $5.00 and after last night I can cash out again for $5.00, but I am going to wait and see if I could get it up to $10.00 before cashing out this time. So far so good, I know I will definately keep doing their surveys.
cjs9473 2-13-2007, 1:44 PM I did two $5 surveys with SurveySpot last night. I have been getting a ton of sweepstakes entries with the "Slot Machine" game they have, also (not that I think I actually have a chance at winning, though)!
DramaQueenLucy 2-13-2007, 2:07 PM Well I just went and checked my account and I had $20.00 in there that I didn't know I had so I cashed out...lol I guess I will still be doing surveys for them after all.
Mommy2Four 2-13-2007, 2:10 PM I haven't had a paid survey from them in a couple months...
DramaQueenLucy 2-13-2007, 2:13 PM Sometimes I check the site like now they have a $3.00 survey up that I didn't get in my e-mail
i hadnt been checking mine either, was waiting for the emails, and i had 3 dollars. cool. :D , thanks for giving a heads up to check the site :D
yeah i still get quite a few paying ones
Princessarky 2-14-2007, 8:26 AM I get alot of paying surveys from them, they are one of my favs
zingerhil 2-14-2007, 7:14 PM I get tons of paying surveys from them, although it has been slow the past week or 2. They are definitely one of my favorites and I can't wait to get my check that I requested recently!
countrygal1961 2-14-2007, 7:30 PM I cashed in $55 in November. I just did some for the spins for sweepstakes and got 250 entries but the site never tells you just how many entries you have total. I wonder if the spins are just a gimmick to get us to do the surveys that they don't want to pay for. There are more non pay than pay ones.
mitchandalisha 2-14-2007, 8:37 PM I made $20 from them in the past month. I am going to keep letting it add up until next fall and use it on Christmas. A great savings account for me! I usually only do their paid surveys and last night they had 3, but I only qualified for one. I check the site every night. If I think a non-paid survey will possibly lead to a PT, then I will do it. I really like Survey Spot!
I make at least 30.00 a month from them. Just and FYI, if you request more than 3 checks in one pay period (bi weekly) they often will cut only 3 checks. Any checks over that, will be held until the next period. I wait until I have at least 20.00 to request a check for this reason.
racingmom 2-15-2007, 8:38 AM I do lots of product test for them and I like the paid surveys too. Recent (2007) PTs include shampoo and concitioner, blueberry waffles, toothpaste, mouthwash, fruit snacks, cereal, and frozen breakfast. Just did a $10 survey for them too.
cjs9473 2-15-2007, 11:12 AM Just qualified for a product test throught SurveySpot this morning!
maryannemomto4 2-15-2007, 11:58 AM I have always liked SurveySpot, I think there surveys are interesting and why shouldn't I win the jackpot LOL j/k
KBsDarling 2-15-2007, 12:46 PM just joined today...not sure how I missed them on the first go around....
elena_398 2-15-2007, 7:39 PM Just got a $18 check from them on Monday. Have another $5 in my account from yesterday. So Im still getting paid surveys. More often than not, but I seem to qualify almost everytime when I do get them

I didn't know that surveyspot had test products hummm learn something new everyday. At least I never got any.
tyler99199 2-16-2007, 8:59 AM I didn't know that surveyspot had test products hummm learn something new everyday. At least I never got any.
I have never done any product tests with them either. Just checked account and have about 50.00 in there. See how long I can let it go before I cash out.
KBsDarling 2-16-2007, 10:23 AM ok so they will email me the pay ones more then likely and the ones that are my survey page are for the raffleslotmachinethingamajooey?
ok so they will email me the pay ones more then likely and the ones that are my survey page are for the raffleslotmachinethingamajooey?
They will email you both. You will get a lot more of the non paying ones. Just delete. However I have had a lot of the non paying ones turn into products tests. I have done about 20 product tests for them in the last couple of years. All have come from non paying surveys.

Maybe that is why I never get a product test one. I usually just delete it if it is not paying. Maybe I will do a couple here and there now and see what happens. When you do the product test does that then lead to being compensated?

for me yes. i was doing a non paying survey, and it turned into a product test, then after doing the product test, i got an email to do a follow up and was told that i would be compensated with 10 dollar gc, then got an additional follow up for the same product which turned into an additional product test (for the same product) and 5 dollar gc. so i wound up getting 4 of the same product to test and 15 dollars in gc when it was all through. and ive only been signed up to do surveys since mid jan :)

Not every product test results in a cash payment. I am doing a shampoo and conditioner testing right now and it is not for cash but the product is awesome! so it's worth it.

exactly, i should have added that....thanks mmm40 :D ....im doing one about sham & cond too, without payment. out of the 4 different and seperate product tests that ive done so far, that one was the only one that offered money compensation. heck, im pleased as anything just to get to test out the products in the first place :D :D
dragonfly79 2-21-2007, 12:05 PM Did a $15 survey last night on libraries!! :g_dance: :groovin: :g_clap: :woot2:
I just did a $10 one on alcoholic beverages!
schoolboy 2-21-2007, 1:45 PM wow, those are good ones. I can't seem to get more than an entry to their sweepstakes. I keep thinking that I am going to quit filling out the ones for sweepstakes, but I seem to fill them out anyway. Tried for a $3 one yesterday, but did not qualify......on to the next one I guess.
KBsDarling 2-25-2007, 10:17 AM Just joined last week I think and got a PT already :) I do the no paying ones every day...Its teh slot machine thing....I am a gambler addict at heart but my pocket book prevents it to take bloom LOL So I do SurveySpot to get a fix for free LOL

I got that too! Any idea who makes it? Thats the prob with some of these product tests, I lvoe em and then dont know where to find them :(
This place just pissed me off. They had a $10 survey that I signed up for to watch something that was on tv at 10:30 at night. So I signed up, they sent me the reminder and the email about the program, then they disqualified me right away because of my age. So why not disqualify me before the survey!
I did a $20.00 beverage survey for them a couple weeks ago.

tdanette 3-2-2007, 10:33 PM GGGRRRRRRRR I did a survey for $10 and watched the 40 min program and everything and while answering the questions I got an error message! I emailed them the message and the link- does anyone know if surveyspot still awards for these things?
debwestmi 3-3-2007, 7:45 AM I have several surveys that never show credited and its been way past the 6 weeks. Emailing them has brought ZERO response!
lennon2004 3-3-2007, 10:25 AM I did a $15 survey yesterday..definitely worth it to keep trying I think, for you guys having issues.
countrygal1961 3-9-2007, 1:46 PM When you do a survey and get to spin. Is it just sweepstakes entries or are there anything else there. I have gotten so many entries and nothing to show for it.

Not every product test results in a cash payment. I am doing a shampoo and conditioner testing right now and it is not for cash but the product is awesome! so it's worth it.
Ok, so I was wondering how people were getting product tests. See, I had read what you posted quite awhile ago to not do the non-paying ones. So, I haven't been. Now, to get the product test ones you do the non paying ones? So, do you just do all surveys available to you then?
I am just like a kid that has to be told what to do....haha :victory:

:o Ha! When I posted that I never did non paying surveys, I didn't. Not back then. I started doing some of the non paying ones only because it was slow and I had no invites. I was jonesing for a survey (lol) so I did a non paying one. Turns out it was a product test. The next non paying one I did out of boredom was also a product test. Well, it turns out out of all the non paying ones I have done (20 maybe?) all but 5 have been product tests!
The short winded story.....Do some of the non paying ones! They may be product test!

Mommy2Four 3-12-2007, 7:50 PM  Anyone else get the 60 minute $15 invite?
I did it, took longer than 60 minutes, keep getting error messages, finally got through the dumb thing and they told me I didn't qualify. BS!! I emailed them and I better get payment. I know I did the entire survey! ***sigh***
imjen2 3-14-2007, 11:31 PM I just logged into Surveyspot (which I usually don't ever do...) and got in on a $15 survey about toy stores!
papkin43 3-15-2007, 12:00 AM Yes I too, have done a few survey's for them, and I have made about $23.00 dollars ,but so far they have only credited me with $8.00,and got offered a few, one for $15.00 didn't qualify, others for $5.00 didn't qualify as well, but alot of them was none paying so I dont do them anymore,to much time for me.
papkin43 3-15-2007, 12:02 AM yes I did ,got the $15.00 invite,they waited until I finished and said I didn't qualify.
tlock1945 3-15-2007, 5:28 AM I did the 15.00 toy shopping one last night and it let me finish and said my acct will be credited. It took the whole time they said it would too.

Yes, I started it the first time and got half way through adn then it locked up on me. When I started back it started me all over again. Then I kept getting 3/4 of the way through and I'd go to the error page. I emailed them. Of course I still haven't heard back form them. But I tried the link again yesterday and thank goodness it didn't start me all over again and I FINALLY finished it. Sheesh, I had about 2 hours work into that thing.
Panda Girl 3-15-2007, 12:12 PM I finally gave up on the toy one. It kept saying it was busy to try back and then it didn't record what I had done. It moved so slow. Forget it!!

papkin43 3-19-2007, 10:23 PM I just wrote them about that 60 minute survey ,I did the same survey only to have them tell me I didn't qualify after I finished it in full, and I think it was over 60 minutes ,and i was kinda sick that day,and if you wrote them about your reward money I just wrote them as well, not I know I finished this in full,i'm kinda upset about this.
papkin43 3-20-2007, 7:21 PM just got an email from surveyspot,i'm getting my $15.00 for that long survey they say I didn't qualify for, they said they were sorry an that I really did finish it.

iceman1988 4-6-2007, 9:31 PM Almost getting as lame as Greenfield these days
Been through way too many 20 minute long surveys and all I get is a scratch off card
Surveyspot isn't even showing any of the $1 surveys I've completed during the past 2 weeks.
Not so keen on them these days

First, Welcome to GottaDeal!! :gdbouquet1: Your going to love it!
Ive given up on Greenfield, as far as survey spot, yes I have my gripes about them and yes they have alot of non paying ones, but like Miranda (mmm40) states a big majority of those turn out to be product tests and I also found that the more I do, the more paid ones start showing up, at least it turned out that way..I do alot of the non paying ones during the lulls in between the paying ones ( I get bored easy lol )
Also it takes longer than 2 weeks for your $'s to be posted, I think it takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks, which is pretty average for most of them, hang in there, they are a pretty legit company..Just slow paying, but they do pay..
oh and btw, I finally just completed the MTV follow up survey before I posted this.. took 3 attempts as I kept getting knocked off because of tech issues, but I was determined to get my $20 bucks lol..
p.s. Take all of Miranda's (mmm40) survey do's and don't's, advice, etc., and you will be getting alot of invites guaranteeeeeed lol
iceman1988 4-8-2007, 12:01 PM thanks for the soothing words judithra
not too keen about much of the online survey scene these days [with the exception of ACOp, Keynote or Pinecone, however few that I do see of them, and I've been a member of Keynote for over 3 years now]
been following Miranda's instructions closely. just in serious need of some more patience.
btw: have you seen the latest one from Surveyspot. they're supposed to be sending me a 30 minute video [by mail] for me to watch in the next 2 weeks. write up a report afterwards for a whole $5. not even sure if this is going to hit. gotta love these guys
I just checked my account and I have $21.00 that has built up since last September. BUT, for the amount of surveys sent and as many times as I have pulled that dumb wheel on their instant game and gotten 100 entries, I should have won something by now! I kind of skim over their emails these days myself.
dansgal 4-8-2007, 10:41 PM I haven't gotten a ton of paying surveys from them lately, but I did just cash out with $42 about 3 weeks ago and got the check this week from them. They are definitely legit!
countrygal1961 4-9-2007, 8:16 AM I sat up for 2 hrs watching that stupid stuff and never got an invite until saturday afternoon by then they had enough responses. I have never won anything on that wheel either and I spin at least 5 or 6 times a day and get at least 600 entries a day or more.
DramaQueenLucy 4-10-2007, 10:30 AM OMG Never have I gone to check this site and gotten this:
We're sorry, there are no available surveys at this time.
We're sorry but there are no surveys for you at this time. Please check back here later to see what's new.
Best regards,

What is up with this??
iceman1988 4-10-2007, 10:36 AM Lucy,
That's odd
I just came off of the site about 15 minutes ago for my morning check
Had the same old gaming and TV surveys for spins at the wheel
Thought my time would be better spent actually doing some work :yuck:
Hope they get their act together soon. I still think they're becoming more and more like Greenfield
Colleen,
That happens. Give it an hour and check back. Your availabilities may change. They often do for me.
iceman1988 Just because one person has a survey available doesn't mean another person will. Collen may not have the demographic required to receive the gaming survey that you do. How long have you been with Surveys Spot? If you are new to the site, it takes time to get rolling. Sometimes, it is just a dry period for your demographics. Survey Spot is a good site. I get at least 30.00 a month from them. They always pay. They send the checks out bi monthly. The time you will wait for your surveys to show up in your account doesn't start when you finish a survey. It begins when Survey Spot closes the survey you took. From that point on it takes 4 -8 weeks to get credit in your account. This is standard. If you get credit/paid before this time period with any other company that is not standard and should be considered a nice gift.
I get many offers for paid surveys. I get many offers for non paying surveys. I take both. I only take the non paying ones when I have time or my gut tells me it will turn into a product test. So far, my gut has proven to be 98% accurate and I get a lot of product tests. Try to keep a positive attitude. What you have experienced and expressed in your posts is pretty darn normal for the survey and research world. Maybe surveys aren't for you.
DramaQueenLucy 4-10-2007, 12:41 PM I went back just a minute ago and there was a new one up for me but I couldn't take it, I got a message saying that there was some kind of a tech problem and to check back later.
Thanks for the info Miranda I was starting to think that they just didn't like me anymore...lol
twinkletoe59 4-15-2007, 8:34 PM Finially got a $3, qualified and completed. On world trade, took about 15 min
I did a 5 minute survey and made $3! yay!
imjen2 4-18-2007, 12:03 AM I just got my first product test from them... WOO HOOOO!! It is actually a product I use and like!
If you get a "food product survey" email, be sure to do it! :gdtoaster:
So. The dogs ate my product test. I received candy to test. I tossed the bag on my bedside table and went to sleep. I don't sleep much but when I do sleep the world could come to an end and I'd miss it. Usually, I wake up with all 4 dogs in my bed. Well. I woke up with a bunch of wrappers and an empty bag. No dogs to be found. I go into the living room and there they all are; looking guilty as sin.
I sure hope these are available in stores. UGH!

I don't know about everybody else, but it seems like most of the paying ones I get come AFTER I have done a non-paying one. When you finish a survey, it asks if you want to see what other ones are available... most of my paying ones have been shown then. The other thing I have found is that if you refresh your screen when it is showing which surveys are available, sometimes new ones come up that weren't shown at first.

ShopperMom 4-30-2007, 11:52 PM How can you tell if one is going to turn into a product test? Any hints to look for? I am tired of wasting time on non-paying ones hoping that it turns out to be a product test only to end up playing that darn slot machine!
tinydancer34 5-1-2007, 3:08 PM Speaking of the slot machine - does anyone know if the slot machine gives anything other than extra chances in the $25,000 sweepstakes? So far I have won 5, 25 and 100 chances, but I see along the right hand side of that page it mentions that you can win iPods, gift cards, etc.
I was wondering if the Scratch-off game has those prizes, or at least a better chance of winning those prizes?

Heads up for a $15 survey regarding government, family values, religion, etc...took about an hour, but $15 an hour is a pretty good rate, as far as I'm concerned, lol!!

I have a few that said product test but only one ever came to my e-mail all of the others I have gone to the site and found. Others I have just done the survey and they have popped up at the end. I just do all of the ones that they have for me.

o_arlene 5-11-2007, 12:07 PM I just receive an invitation for "Precast" you have to download a software for previews of movies and things like that. Then they invite you for surveys related to the movies. It doesn't say how much they pay per survey (If they pay) is with surveyspot so If somebody know how this works??? Thanks
slyandell 5-11-2007, 12:21 PM I got that about three months ago and never got anything from them after I downloaded. Finally uninstalled it.

If you are willing to download the software go with Permission Research.

Check your emails or the site for a "food product survey". It says it will take 7 minutes. I leads to a product testing if you qualify.
Thanks Miranda for bringing them back up, just checked in with them and had a survey for $5.00 about jewelry and Avon...... but the one you mentioned was not there for me. Good luck everybody!!!!!!!!!!! :2wiggle: :cheesy:

zingerhil 6-16-2007, 1:39 PM Not working for me either :(
Nothing loads for me either... in looking to see what the problem was I stumbled on this forum, making sure it wasn't just me... I'm slightly worried =/ I have $250+ that I've yet to cash out, saving up for nearly a year now... :g_think: I hope everything's fine, perhaps I'm being a bit too worrisome and pessimistic...

I wouldn't worry. A lot of sites do routine maintenance on the weekends. Glad to have you aboard! Are you really into surveys and research? If you are, you've stumbled into a great place. If you aren't into them, stick around, You will be!

Thanks, I do love doing the surveys, particularly just because the subject matter can be so interesting at times... in looking around the forums after I joined last night, seems I definitely stumbled onto the right place... looking forward to being more of a part of this.
i just checked....surveyspot is back up!! :)

what kind of screen are you getting after you log in and you click on the 'check available surveys' link?
Kash58 6-18-2007, 12:27 AM I signed in ok, took a couple short surveys...only entries of course, seems like they aren't paying too much cashola these days. It really irritates me when they get you to give all this information and then just give you a spin for a measly 15 entries in the sweepstakes. Anyway I couldn't sign out......so I just closed the window, obviously they are still having problems with the site. :(
BotticelliPear 6-18-2007, 1:36 AM Great tip! Thanks much!
caitlinn 6-18-2007, 9:47 AM what kind of screen are you getting after you log in and you click on the 'check available surveys' link?

Hmm, interesting. I just logged in and everything looks normal for me. Hopefully everything gets straightened out soon.
