Not going to bed until midnight, Patrick waking up at around 2:30, Alexis up at 4:30 and the alarm going off at 5:15. THEN Patrick decides he wants to get up at 7:15 this morning and would NOT go back to bed. So, needless to say I am tired and cranky and just not the best of people this morning. So, when Chris' credit card called at 8 AM, I was a little bitchy to him. Chris' card is past due and he wondered if we could do the 29.00 fee over the phone. Well, we are running on just about 300.00 or less to last us until the end of the month (too much crap due in Nov. with the vehicle ins. and Jeep tag etc.) and I flat out said "No, we can't pay anything until the end of the month" and can you BELIEVE he didn't even press me to post date a check or anything like that!? He just "Okay, thank you ma'am and could you please inform Brian that we called." and HUNG UP!

So, sound like a royal bitch on the phone or pissed off enough that you would bite his head off if they angered you anymore and you too can make a debt collector* hang up after the first attempt! :rotflol

(*it wasn't a credit collection place, it was still the credit card company but that was the only name I can think of.)

Where were you when we would receive non-stop political calls before the elections?

Do you charge per call or can I get a monthly rate?

;)

OMG Tell me about it ! I was so sick of them calling at all hours of the day and into the late night. I hated the pre-recorded ones, because then I couldn't get my 2cents in!

I feel bad but a telemarketer called while we were dog sitting for a friend. They asked if I would vote for a certain candidate. So I asked "can I vote for Sadaam Hussein"? They chuckled and said no then hung up.

The nerve!

That was the joys of caller ID...any number I didn't recognize I would either not answer it or answer and then hang up.

We have been receiving calls from this one company all the time. They either just hang up on us or you can't understand them. My father has also been in the hospital and with the holidays and all there has been a great deal of stress. The other night we got a phone call with a caller id number we didn't recognize. My mother answered the phone and screamed to never call again. It was her auto insurance company hehe. The girl was practically crying on the other end. My mom was just a bit red in the fact on that one :yelclap:

I like to answer surverys when tellemarkets call... One time I received a call regarding a survery for fast food places, I said I was 83 year old man, and that I ate fast food three times a day every day.

:rotflol: :D :D

oh yes Caller ID . Now i have Unknown 000-000-0000 or 111-111-1111 showing up for the phone numbers -- AS IF im going to answer that one... and IF it was important would you leave a message.

I know I would.

I don't have a home phone anymore, so when anything unknown rings in on the cell, I let it go to Voicemail
