Just wondering how much success y'all have had with using printable coupons
instore. I have only had one accepted .

Any tips or thoughts ?

Most stores have a posted policy, either they do or they dont. Most stores here dont take them, but there are a couple that do.

I had trouble with WalMart accepting them. The manager told me their policy is if they don't scan then they don't accept printed coupons.

not around here no printable coupons....

I've used internet-printed coupons at SuperCuts, Vons/Pavilions, Target, Kmart, Walgreens with no problems.

I've used printable ones at Walmart (Illinois) all the time too. Which Walmart do you shop at?

You use printables at Pizza Hut? I just order on thier website, and I click the coupon, it automatically applies it to my order. I never thought about printing those out, lol.

I used two I printed off my computer at Walgreens today and they accepted them:) but then I tried to use one at Walmart and they wouldn't take it:(

Walmart cashier (at least here) have recently been instructed about internet coupons... Because of the number of fake coupons floating around if it doesn't scan and isn't in the system as a known good coupon, they're to call a CSM. If the coupon is fake, the CSM and a member of salaried management will decide on the course of action to take against the presenter. Be careful...

I wasn't trying to use a fake coupon, I got it off coolsavings.com, I only got coupons from there and coupons.com both which are real coupon sites.

It would be just my luck that they would call the police on me! Menards did something similar to me a year ago (long story) and after the police straightened it all out and Menards was incorrect - I didn't do anything wrong except shop at Menards - they didn't even want to apologize!

I rarely shop there anymore and I used to be in there at least once or twice a week, their loss!

local stores don't take printables... I don't even bother to try.

One of the grocery stores I go to doesn't take them but Walmart and Target do. I am just waiting for that to end soon also. The mfg's have got to come up with something better.

I have had good luck with internet coupons until just recently. Now my local walmart and walgreens won't take them because they are involved in a fraud investigation with someone abusing the internet coupon deals. It is too bad that a few have to wreck it for everyone.

Me too. The ones I use always scan so no problem.
