View Full Version : E-rewards
KBsDarling 3-11-2006, 1:36 PM There was a thread about survey companies and I think it got squished.(or I am just blind) I had just today asked a question on it and dont think that was why it got squished(if it was I am sorry and go ahead and send this one away too)
has anyone redeemed for the e-rewards Blockbuster 25$ reward? The 6 free rentals? Is it an email thing that I will have to print off? Do they snail mail them to you? ANd is the rentals good on anything(new releases) or just on blockbuster "favorites" (the old ones) I looked through their site and didnt find it and I emailed them w/ no reply as of yet. Was just curious before i try to redeem.
Thanks
Kim
fairydustcrissy 3-11-2006, 2:40 PM Yes, they will email you 6 coupons for free rentals, all dated for one month. EX: If you redeemed today, you would get one valide from 3-1 to 3-31, then 4-1 to 4-30, etc, etc
KBsDarling 3-11-2006, 3:18 PM Thank you again LOL You are just helping me out every where today :)
Crude then. I took the comments of "sent to" to mean they would send me something LOL Didnt see mention of needing a printer to take part...guess I will just let the $ build till i get around to getting a new printer :)
Thansk again
fairydustcrissy 3-11-2006, 5:37 PM You can always print them at the library :) Here I think its like 10 or 15 cents a page (?)I know they do all print on 1 page, cuz I printed mine a while back.
KBsDarling 3-11-2006, 7:09 PM but then i wouldnt have a reason to get a new printer LOL jk

I think that the thread that you're looking for is here (on the freebies board)
http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=17479&highlight=surveys
and I'm glad that you asked because I didn't know how it works either.
KBsDarling 3-11-2006, 8:33 PM not the same thread it was about doing them for gift cards and the such....But that link did remind me I need to find out what the hold up is on DD's Amazon card LOL
For the other things that e-rewards offers: I dont fly. The $ of at the other retailers wasnt that good. Is the Hilton Honors worth it? We dont do a ton of hotel travel though if i had it cheap enough i might lol
I've done the Blockbuster. Works like a charm! Thinking about using some on the Universal Vacation package. That would be awesome!

You can get more than just hotel stays with HHonors, so you may find it to be worth it. It will take some time (most things cost around 20,000 hhonors points), but if you like taking surveys then I'd say to go ahead and do it.
I've been a member of e-rewards for only a couple of months, and have already reached the $25 level (I cashed out on it for the 1,000 hhonors points to test out the service :P), and am $1.50 away from the $50 reward level now (this is what i'm going to go for from now on, 3,000 hhonors points, unless something better comes up as a reward). This is pretty much the equivalent of a $300 stay at the hotel, as far as the points go. (if you stayed at a hilton brand hotel, you would earn 3,000 hhonors points for a $300 stay)

universal has some amazing deals on their own right now, so you may want to look around for a package that suits your needs, and then decide if the reward will actually discount the package any more.
bovichtj 3-20-2006, 12:47 PM The Hilton Honors e-reward is a good one, but they will only let you cash out once every 3 months on it. My husband has been doing this regularly, and we get a free sat every so often. I tried to use my e-rewards account to do it, and they clarified it as "one e-reward trnsfer per hilton account" every 3 months...bummer.
If you book one of the HltonHHonors Point Stretcher rates, you can get a room for about $10-12K points. But beware, it looks like they are increasing the "levels" and thus the points needed to redeem...

sassercc 4-17-2007, 1:28 AM I'm new to e-rewards so maybe someone else will see your question and have an answer for you.
I am actually doing my first product test for them tomorrow. This may be a dumb question, but do I keep the product or send it back somewhere? I haven't received any telling me what to do once I receive the product.
Thanks!

Anita13 4-17-2007, 7:37 AM e-rewards is lame
shay_n_sc 4-17-2007, 9:11 AM I have never received a product to test from erewards but with other survey sites - you get to keep the product.
I have redeem my rewards for HHilton points but it seems like I was never going to get enough points for a free room so now I just get magazine subscriptions.
Its not my favorite reward program but free is free.
ponycal 4-17-2007, 10:14 AM I love E-rewards! It's one of my very favorites! I get the 6 new release coupons for Blockbuster every year. My whole family is signed up so we scatter what months we request the movies so we can rent a new release movie for free almost every week. The magazines are great too. We have several free mag. subs. My DD loves Seventeen. My hubby does the Hilton points and we have had several free nights from Hilton. The only problem is that they don't send you reward offers very often, but when they do, they can really add up!!
sassercc 4-17-2007, 9:10 PM I get to keep the webcam and I actually ended up with 2. I told them they sent me 2 but they just said to keep them. The online focus group was long though 2 hours.
tinydancer34 4-17-2007, 9:34 PM Wow, I have never received a product test from them. The magazine subscriptions that I like always seem to be out of stock. :( I hope something good comes up soon, I know the reward money has an expiration date. BTW, have you seen that Pizza Hut is now a sponsor? I keep waiting for them to put Pizza coupons up as rewards. I'm really getting impatient!! LOL
jax81772 4-19-2007, 4:45 PM I just cashed in half my $$$ for Seventeen magazine for my daughter. Has anyone used the Borders rewards?

I used Borders Rewards E-reward last year and it was wonderful. $15 of free book credit instantly to your Borders Rewards card. The only thing was that you couldn't claim the award until Nov. and had to use it by the end of Jan. Borders just changed their program this month so hopefully we can claim the award before Nov. Good luck!
tinydancer34 4-19-2007, 8:28 PM Yes, I used the Borders rewards last year. I didnt have any problem spending it before the expiration date due to the holidays. It's too bad they don't allow you to choose that reward more than once per year.
