View Full Version : ING.com
My son called and told me that ING.com is paying 4.5% on saving accounts for the first 2 months then 3.8%. Does anyone have this? How is it working?

I've had them for a few years. They along with Emigrant Direct are offering some of the best savings account rates. If you are wondering how trustworthy ING is, you can be sure that they are a legit bank. The are FDIC insured, and even though they have no physical branches, everything works well. Deposits and withrawals usually take about 2-3 days when linked to your checking account.

Quite a few GottaDeal'ers including myself have INGDirect.com accounts. Yes they're legit and your money is safe as they are FDIC insured (http://www2.fdic.gov/structur/search/isinsured.asp?CERT=35489). If you'd like we can send you a referral, if you deposit $250 or more you will earn a free $25 bonus and we earn $10 per referral.
INGDirect.com (http://www.gottadeal.com/click.php?retailer=ingdirect)
I would also check out HSBCDirect (http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=30064)

with these promotion rates higher then normal up to a certain date. All in all who has the higher rates AFTER all the promotions are gone and done with?
So far both HSBC and ING offer you $25 for signing up and both are offering promotion interest rates.
I've gotten settled down from my moving to another state and changing checking accounts and all the other goodies. Now its almost time for me to sign up with something to start making money.

if ING is still offering 25, someone let me know.
Also, do you have to fund a certain amount to get the money?

NewHorizon - Does HSBC have a minimum deposit for their $25 bonus?
