I put in the quality of hotel I want, i.e. 3 or 4 star and then low-ball a price (after I have checked w/ hotels.com, expeida.com, etc.. to find their cheapest price) and then go to priceline and go much cheaper than that with my first bid... I've stayed in some wonderful hotels for VERY cheap.. downtown chicago - on the magnificent mile (Marriott) - USUALLY $250/night if you call for a weekend to their 800# - $139 on expedia and others - got it for $75/night in the middle of the summer. it was great. elena_398 1-18-2006, 6:29 PM Also check your local entertainment book.
