Hi. I missed out on the BF MP3s (mostly due to not wanting rebate deals) & am looking for a really cheap MP3 for a soon-to-be 10 year old. I think the 128 MB is even too small for her but want to keep price one of the top priorities as she'll likely lose it.:(

The best apparent deal I've seen so far is the Unversal Buslink MP3-SK256 from mwave.com for $31.99 plus about $6 S&H. Do you think I can do any better or maybe some future store ads will have good deals before Christmas? Thanks

Wal-Mart still has the RCA Lyra for $39 it has 128M built in but you can put in an SD or MMC card and expand the memory really cheaply. I got one for my 12 year old for Christmas this year. It looks pretty neat and supports wmp so you can use it directly in Windows Media Player from what I understand.

I would go with that one soonernstlouis, it seems to be a great deal with an FM radio to boot.
