You have to choose the B120, entrylevel for $449. I bought this system yesterday, and upgraded to the one year warranty for an additional $29. It totaled out to $609 then they instant rebated me $150 so it ended up being:

I'm not quite understanding your question? The laptop is $399 after $100 mail in rebate, or $379 after rebate and the $20 off Paypal coupon (code: 1P002ZF2T7QPD0). Since the $100 mail in rebate is not yet applied, it's $479 after Paypal coupon, so well over any $200 restriction there may or may not be?

Doesn't the B120 have GMA900? I've never used a integrated graphics solution, however this is for the wife. All she plays is Second Life, Sims 2, Ultima Online, Eve Online, WoW, and recently Civ 4. Mostly online line games. Now I know Civ 4 won't prob play at all or very well, even on a I6000 (my next choice with a 128 x300).

How will those games fair? As long as there playable 25-30+ frames I don't think she would have a issue. I would like to know if anyone has a notebook with GMA900 and plays any of the games above.

It's a 4 Cell Li Ion battery - only 29 WHrs!

The 2200 had 2 choices of batteries - the 8 Cell NiMH at 43 WHrs and the 8 Cell Li Ion at 65 WHrs for $69 more (which btw for $79 you could keep the 8 Cell NiMh and get the Li Ion too). Just because its a Li Ion battery doesn't make it the same.

Personally I'd rather the 8 cell NiMH over a 4 Cell Li Ion (almost 50% longer runtime).

Actually the deal from yesterday is back up. The one with 512 MB of ram and the wireless card. I just ordered mine and it was $618 now and $518 after my mail-in rebate. Not too bad i just hate paying $49 in shipping charges.

The rebate form says that all i need is the a complete copy of my qualifying packing slip. I am not sure where this is located before the notebook arrives by mail but it does say that it will be in a clear plastic envelope attached to the package. The model # matches the $449 one ($549 before mail-in)listed one the web page.

Basic Entry-Level that has the $100 off instantly+$100 off by mail-in rebate for a total of $449, then click customize it. I went through it and didnt change/click a thing other than continue, add to cart, and then checkout. After that it is preferred shipping and i will not export this. After you are finished with all of that you can enter the code for $20 off(even though i didnt use Paypal). It states nothing about the $100 mail-in after the first page though and on that page is where i printed out my rebate form. Hope this helps.

I am sorry for all of these posts but here is the specs and i looked at the rebate form and it says that if you are eligible for a rebate it will be inside your packing slip. It never mentions any code that is required. Actually after deleting some useless #'s in these specs it does say something about the rebate.

I totally agree!! I have a Dell Inspiron 8000 (6.5 years old approx). We bought it refurb'd from Dell's site about five years ago. Their customer service has rocked the few times we had to call them (and it was minor stuff, nothing really wrong w/ the laptop itself but questions we had about it).

Inadvertantly a few times my twin boys (then 1.5 years old) got too it as well. They ripped the CD drive out of it as well as the DVD drive. DH spent about 10 minutes fixing it and all was well again. ;)

So I highly recommend Dell laptops, they are the only laptops we will buy/use. :D

I just bought this exact thing except I got the pentium M. The price was $600 before my $45 coupon bringing the total to $555, before tax ans shipping. How long did it take for you to get your order confirmation? I still havent received mine.

I totally agree!! I have a Dell Inspiron 8000 (6.5 years old approx). We bought it refurb'd from Dell's site about five years ago. Their customer service has rocked the few times we had to call them (and it was minor stuff, nothing really wrong w/ the laptop itself but questions we had about it).

Inadvertantly a few times my twin boys (then 1.5 years old) got too it as well. They ripped the CD drive out of it as well as the DVD drive. DH spent about 10 minutes fixing it and all was well again. ;)

So I highly recommend Dell laptops, they are the only laptops we will buy/use. :D

Totally. Dell laptops are consistantly rated/ranked as the best... beating out such high-end options as Alienware and Voodoo... completely leaving Gateway, HP in the dust... har. :)

Just to let everyone know about shipping. I ordered my dell b130 on sat. 11/26, it said that it would be shipped by 12/12/05. I recieved a email today saying that my laptop would arrive tomorrow 11/29. How freakin quick is that? I cannot wait to get it tomorrow. I may not sleep tonight because I am so excited. Thanks gottadeal for alerting me to this deal. I have always wanted a laptop.

Well after having intrusted my laptop hopes in the online BB purchase that got canceled I just purchased this dell. I think I got a better computer and deal, so maybe it worked out. Hey does anybody know if PayPal is still accepting the code for $20 off when you buy the Dell laptop computer. I started to buy one this morning but could not find where to put the code to receive the $20 off. Please let me know because I will try ordering the laptop computer later on.

The $20 paypal code gets put in on the Dell site not the paypal site. Just like any other Dell promo/coupon code. Believe it has to be Dell home though. I know it won't work through the Dell Outlet.

The Dell Laptop deal is over the price now is $499.

Does anyone have the rebate form or can forward it to me. With the paypal code, you have to enter it on the Dell coupon page, paypal never gives you the option to enter a coupon on the paypal page.

Beth: Received my order confirmation within 5 minutes -- but have not yet received a shipping confirm. Ordered a dell last Christmas and even though they said they'd ship in two weeks, I think it was actually 3 days after the order was placed.
