A new baby

Is what my 2 and a half year old son wants for Xmas. Our family has had an influx of new babies so I guess he wants to join the crowd. The problem...dh is deployed. Would it be weird if I bought him a doll?

When my boys were little we got them Cabbage Patch baby boys. They wanted to be like Daddy. They liked them and played with them, but by the time they were 3 or 4 they did not wantit anymore. If you can get one for 10 at Walmart go for it.

I don't think so. When my son was little he was totally in love with Marie Osmond so I got him the Marie doll. Then Baby Brother Tender Love came out and it was anatomically correct. It was so cute I haD to have it so I bought it for him. He used to take his dolls to bed. He's fine today and has a family of his own! LOL

I did tell him that God would send us a baby when he had a good one for us. I'm not sure that he understood or wanted that answer though.

I got my son a baby doll to get him ready for his new brother. Its not gonna screw your son up, don't worry!

I'm not so worried it will mess him up...I'm really more worried that it will mess up his Marine dad!
