I try to, but alot of times the presents just go into our closet when I get home (so that our daughter doesn't see them). Because his work hours are so crazy, I have a tendency to forget.

I usually try to tell him. Back when he traveled a lot, some things ended up being a surprise to him too for the kids. It wasn't always easy to show him everything if he was in another state or country, because when he would get back, they'd be hidden away from the kids. Now he knows them as I get them or order them, and even gets to help with all of that! :) Ofcourse all of his gifts have always been a surprise!

I do all the shopping and wrapping so my husband finds out what they get christmas morning too. Heck, I tell him what his family got after I mail it out every year (they live out of state). LOL. He doesn't do malls or crowded stores

My husband doesn't even ask to see the gifts. He likes to be surprised too on christmas. Its funny when they read the tag and says thanks dad and mom. LOL My husband will lean towards me and ask what we got! LOL

I show my DH what I buy on BF. He like to know what everyone is getting but he doesn't want me to tell anyone what we bought anyone. I feel like with the kids you have to let other adults know or you'll get alot of duplicate items.

Yep I share what I buy, even the stuff before BF (even if he doesnt want to see LOL) He helps me wrap too :) He is a much better wrapper then me.

Well, about 3 yrs ago the 17 yr old asked to start helping me wrap and go to BF...so she usually sees everyones BUT hers...I NEVER let her see her own...and she helps me alot...she LOVES it..and now this year the 14 yr old has asked to do the same thing.....I really don't mind..because they are finding such delight in the hunt, bf, and the wrapping.....and we get to spend a day together.....dh sees some..not alot....mainly because he doesnt really care what I buy...lol...as long as he isnt the one that has to do all the shopping. (Won't he enjoy BF this year when he gets to be the electronics monitor at Walmart for a laptop!..he is a huge dude...so it makes sense to me...lol)

Yeah, me too! I am bringing my daugther's gifts from the USA, and i know i'll feel like giving them all to her as soon as I get back here! I think I'll buy some extra stuff, just to give her in advance!

One year I did all the Christmas shopping ...he usually will go out and get a gift just from himself. So this one year I just put on the tag 'from dad'. So, when our daughter said 'Oh dad, I love this' he had to ruin it by saying 'What was it I got you?'. I show him what I get everyone for Christmas but he forgets. He does go out and buys for his parents without my help, buy for me and one present for each of the kids. And he is good at helping me wrap the presents.

My husband is the one who does our wrapping except when he's deployed. One year, I had wrapped a ton of stuff without his help. He took one look and started to laugh and then unwrapped everything and did it himself!! When my husbnad wraps things, they look just like they came from a store. When I wrap, they look like it took me 5 seconds!!!!!:sidesplit :banana01:
