Hehe, brings mine to $7 something. I have a ShopRite card linked to it, as well as my debit cards, but there are so few products that actually participate in it. I figure the bulk of the money I'll get in there will be from buying through FTD.com.

If you shop online, make sure you go to upromise first, and then go to the shop. Unfortunately, Amazon and Toys R Us aren't on there right now, but KB Toys / eToys, buy.com, and some others are on there. Other than that, if you need to order flowers, they have 1800flowers and FTD on there, maybe some others too. I've been in it for about 6 months or so.

New to this site, but not Upromise. Thank you for the tip for the $3. :yelclap:

As to compiling $ in your account, I've got $1,061.12 since May of 2002. Of that, $1,002.04 is from Citibank for using the Upromise Mastercard.

I don't carry a balance ever, but I buy almost everything on credit card for 3 reasons 1) never have to carry cash, 2) Easier tracking credit vs cash in Quicken, 3) 1% on a $2.00 charge is an extra $0.02 in my account.

(drives my wife crazy when I charge anything under $5, but it's usually just as quick and sometimes quicker than cash).

Even if you aren't as prolific a spender as I am (a big vacation to China, a bathroom remodel and 2 years of (company reimbursed) MBA tuition helped fuel that scary total), a quick tip for piling on the contributions without having much money fly out of your pocket -- Offer to pay for the entire bill when your office goes out to lunch. You get cash in return (saves you a trip to the ATM) and your $8 lunch just got you $0.60 in Upromise due to eveyone else's spending...

Just be careful with the flowers... I've noticed that several of the online flower sites change their pricing based on where you're coming from. So if you came from a link that gave you free shipping, the price of the flowers themselves jumps up. It sucks.
