My brother is a chef and wants new cookware for christmas. (for home use)
He mentioned EmerilWare, but from the reviews I've seen, it's basically WalMart quality at Emeril prices.

I looked into All-Clad (no way I'm paying $500 for a 9pc set)
and Calphalon (which is what I use) but STILL can't pay what they're asking for a 10pc set.

Any suggestions on a really good brand at an even better price?

T-Fal Perfection 9pc Set (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00009A9Z4/qid=1129903381/br=1-7/ref=cl_tr_br_cl//104-0095231-8346349?v=glance&s=kitchen&n=697358) $87.22 shipped from Amazon.com. We use T-fal cookware at home. It's not as solid as some of the Calphalon stuff, but it has held up and is not nearly as flimsy as the first Farberware set we had.
