I need a very cheap external DVD/CD burner that will ship to the us virgin islands (st croix).
Something less than $80 including shipping.
Price means everything, I just need something to work 50% of the time :yelclap:

I guess I wasn't clear. It needs to burn dvds and burn cds.
There was something on tigerdirect.com, but they no longer ship to the VIs.

Bobby,
I have another possible solution but it would require someone to manually ship to the Virgin Islands (which isn't that difficult (http://postcalc.usps.gov/default.asp) at your local USPS office).
It isn't exactly cheap but CompUSA.com has an MegaStor 7-in-1 Dual Layer 8x External USB 2.0 DVD+/-RW Drive for $119.99 (http://www.qksrv.net/click-1418914-10291892?url=http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=312930&pfp=cat3) after rebates. Add something for $0.01 or more and receive $0.01 shipping.
Shipping from Arizona to St Croix 00851 via USPS is around $12.83 via parcel post and $14.05 priority mail.
Or buy the newegg.com burner for $80 shipped (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=27-106-554&depa=0) and ship it yourself to St. Croix for around $15.
Hope this helps :)

It sounds like I will just have to ship the item to florida (closest place to st. criox), and then have a friend in florida ship it to st. criox.

Why wouldn't you be able to ship directly to St Croix?
Why ship to FL then to St Croix?

Shipping to St Criox is very expensive when you order online. TigerDirect said they would ship that $70 deal for $47!

Why can't you have it shipped to YOU, then you ship it directly to St Croix for $15?

Because I live in Arizona, and Florida is closer to St. Criox- so it would be a little bit cheaper.
