View Full Version : chainmail kit Kandy 10-10-2005, 7:59 PM Okay my son (he's 10) is have a Medevil program at school and it is required that he has to be dressed in chainmail -- so i need a headpiece and "shirt or collar" Im not going to pay $700 for this so where can I buy kits. From what I remember at the renaissance fairs, real chain mail was pretty expensive. Can something be approximated, ie, posterboard wrapped in alum. foil or something? She got buckets of little circle things and just connected them using pliars. Seemed pretty easy, but labor intense.
