My wife and I, what about you?

I've always gone alone. Dh has stayed home with the kids. This year, if I go out, the kids will come along, but not till later in the day/weekend, so my true BF shopping will be done online (and alone, as nobody else will be online shopping with me, LOL).

Last year it was me and 3 friends that I teach with. This year it will be me and my best friend that will be visiting...I can't wait!

Actually, if I could convince either of my guys (dh or ds) to get up and shop with me, it would be nice. But, neither of them will deign to even acknowledge that I'm up at that time of the morning on a day off from work and school. And since we're out of town at FIL's for the holiday weekend, I have no friends nearby to shop with.

I eventually meet up with family, but actual shopping is done by myself. On thanksgiving we give each other a store to go to. (mom, sister, and I). Once we go to all the stores we agreed on, we meet for lunch. Its great and I know if I couldn't make it to a particular store in time, one of them already got the stuff I wanted there

I shop with my mom, grandma, aunt, and when she can get the day off, my sis. Its a family tradition!

In all honestly, I cannot get one of my friends to go out at the hour I do. They prefer to go much later. So I prefer just to go out myself and be the first few in line. I don't mine. I always meet tons of nice people while in line.

I go with my best friend, the hubby stays with our children. It's the one day of the year we can leave the house way before the sun comes up and stay out until we are completely broke without a husband calling and asking when we will be back. It's understood we are shopping hard and we are to be left alone unless there is a child emergency LOL

I've shopped in the past with my mom and sisters, and last year and this year I'll be shopping with my sister in laws. Only once have I went out by myself--I admit you can cover more ground alone, but it is imo more fun with others with you.

if i'm getting up at the crack of dawn, i'll probably be alone unless it's a super tech deal, then my brother will go with me.

no one else is insane as i am. my aunt would go, but she goes to jc penney/wal mart/etc and i like to hit up the computer deals really early.

I used to shop with my mom but she blew me off for my dad. So, I go with my 18 year old cousin, she is bugging me from college wanting to know if any ads have been posted here yet!

I'm the 'bulldozer' for my wife and sister, plus, at 6'4" I tend to see things better and reach the top shelf.....

It's been different every year, but usually just one person goes with me.

I usually go by myself, but Dh is super paranoid this year and does not want me to go alone, so I am bringing my 6'5" 270 lb cousin with me.

It depends on the year - if my mom isn't home I go alone, if she's here we go together.

Last year was my first year and I went with my girlfriend at the time. I'm not sure what plans I will come up with this year. I may crash Nate's Black Friday party if he goes. :)

I usually go with my mom. My new SIL went with us last year, but she slowed us way down. We won't make that mistake again. Mom and I are a good team. It is our one day of the year that is totally just us. I don't have to compete with my kids for her attention. lol

I usually go with my mom, but my husband and my dad have to work that day, so my mom will probably be watching my kids...which means I'll be alone. Unless my brother and my new SIL show up for Thanksgiving. I might be able to drag my SIL with me. Maybe. But alone is fine. It's faster that way.

All three years I've gone it's been me, my sister and my dad. Sadly, I can't go home this year so if I go it will be either me alone or (very unlikely) me and DH. Maybe if we stay up all night until 5 and then go shopping-- otherwise, forget it.

I'm bummed to be missing out on the family fun this year. :(

We make a family day of it. I usually go with some of my aunts, cousins, my stepmom, and my grandmother. We'll be the bunch of goofballs you see running through the stores and yelling back and forth. :gd_shake:

i'm with jen ,, i go by myself cause if i want to leave or whatever i don't have to wait for someone else.or sometimes i hear people talking about some unadvertised deal or one i didn't hear about and i might just pick up and go right then and there

Every year, I head out on my own. Love it because I can go at my own pace and not wait for someone to "hurry up" or checkout at the registers. My husband stays home with the kids and after Im done shopping, I meet up with my mom and sister who also shop by themselves (we get all the door busters this way!)

I take my 16 year old daughter. She is 5'1" and weighs 100 lbs soaking wet. All legs and arms, so she can sneak in between people really easy. :lmao: Anyway, I tell her "OOOOh we need that" and point, next thing I know she's beside me with it in her arms. It's great!!:cheesy:

ussually dh and a heard of friends. We all have evil plans on how we are going to get everything we want first... We make friend's with people in line, detailed lists, send my dh over to the hard stuff to get, never get carts... We wait patiently in line for about 2 hours before they open and have hot coffee and crack jokes. Sometimes even harrass the people who cut in line and wait to bombared the door. (Not in a really bad way tho this is a pretty small town lol )

We usually make conversation with the others in line. Last year at OfficeMax, I helped a woman load a 27" TV/VCR/DVD combo into the back of her PT Cruiser.

I have only been twice... First time was with my Mom. Second was solo. This year I take a newbee that has always wanted to go BF shopping but never had anyone to go with.

I'd like to say I have a shopping buddy, but my husband has to stay home with the kids and my sister always poops out on me. So yes, I usually go alone.

I go with a friend. She has to leave her house at 3am to get here by 4:45.....we are waiting in front of TRU at 4:45, since they have been opening at 5 the last two years, even though the ad says 5:30...............lol.

Well some years it's just me and some years it's me and hubby and the kids. But this year it's just he and I since we now have family that can watch them while we shop. Also won't have any room in the car w/ the BIG TV I plan on buying..lol.:D

My wife goes with me, at least the last 3 years. I started shopping on BF about 10 years ago, sometimes dragging one of the kids with me. But it's more productive to go by myself!

After we get the must haves, we'll meet up to finish shopping and/or eat somewhere.

Got my hubby hooked on BF last year, it was the first time he ever had the day off. his year it will be my hubby, my daughter and niece.

We usually have a team plan with about 6 people, 2 per team w/ plans to visit 2-3 stores each. We all meet up around 11am to disburse the goodies we've picked up for one another and write checks. :)

It's a pretty intense operation (they call me the shopping nazi), but everyone gets what they wanted and we're finished fairly early.

This year I'm adding hubby to the group. He'll be going with me, provided he sticks with the plan (otherwise, he may be hailing a cab from the Target parking lot). He's 6'4 and I need him to reach tall shelves, lol! ;)

I used to go alone till 3 years ago a friend moved from florida and I found out she loves bf so now we go together. This year we are adding atleast one more. She has always wanted to go with others and she found out we are going so we are training (baptizing) her.

That sounds like our house. I do like the BF deals, but it is more fun to sit back and watch his excitement. :banana01: Especailly if it means saving some money :g_thumbri It is usually a race to see who can get to the computer first and check the gottadeal site.

My sister and I go out, she works retail so she works the afternoon and gets up early to go with me, they I go out alone. We always have so much fun and look forward to it every year.

I used to go with my mom every year...since we live 90 minutes apart now...my teen girls go with me usually..and this year..since hubby is gonna be home that morning..he has been drafted to be the electronics department stand in..lol......his job is simple..yet very much needed..lol

The years before I married. It would always be my mom & I shopping on BF. Now that I am married, I drag hubby along. LOL I will never forget the look on his face his first BF shopping experience. He is from Canada so they dont have this sorta thing there. Anyway we was at Shopko. The doors opened & people were just rushing to get in. He could not believe how these people were acting. I told him it's like this every year.

I used to shop with my Dh, SIL and BIL but the past few years when we'd be at my DH's grandparents but since we're staying home anymore I shop with my oldest DD. She's already asked me if she's going to go with me this year.

My best friend and I have been doing this for years together (we go even if we don't need anything) - and we end up at this greasy little diner - eating everything we shouldn't.

I love it and look forward to it every year. Its tradition

I usually go with my mom, *sigh* I have to do it alone this year. Actually this year we're going to leave my son with his other grandparents (inlaws) and my husband is going with me! He has to, I'm standing in line to get him an xbox on the 21st, he's getting up early and going shopping with me!

I take hubby...but he only goes because we go out of town and shop in the city, and he doesn't trust my city driving. Of course he complains about BF for days in advance and when we first start shopping, but after awhile he gets in to it to....especially when we hit the computer stores.

Started years ago with my oldest daughter. Just me and her out for adventure. As my twins got older they felt left out so they were included. The wife really did not care one way or another. Now oldest daughter has moved out and twins are in college....they still want to go when home from college. We go even if we really do not need anything, but we always seem to find SOMETHING THAT NEEDS US.

For the past 7 years, I have always gone with my mom except for last year. Our first time going shopping on bf, it was my mom, my cousin and I, the following year it was mom & I. There were a couple of years I took my son only because I had to since DH was working, but he meet up with us at the mall and took the baby. My daughter has gone every year and she is 4 now. She is excited about going again this year.

All by myself and looking forward to it!!

I thought I would have my friend come out, but she backed out. Her loss.

I started about 5 years ago shopping with my mom, but the last two years I have been able to convince my girlfriend to go with me and for the first time this year she is eager to go! Mission: accomplished!

Me and my mom always go together! Before my grandmother passed away it used to be a nice trio we had going.

I like to tag team shop. Meaning I usually go with one girlfriend and I find out where two of my other girlfriends are going and I get them to pick up an item for me if they are going somewhere I'm not going to make and I do the same for them. That way I can shop in several places at one time.:gd_orange :clapping:

It's always been a "mom and me" thing! This year we're adding my aunt and cousin-in-law to the mix. Tried to include my great aunt, too, but she thinks we're crazy! :D

Me..We have a team of people. ;-) It's ranges between 8 & 15 of us. I mean my dad who is 60 goes! He's th oldest. And this year my 13 year old stepson. We don't sleep (unless it's outside freezing in the line). And we all have cell phones. We hit about 10 stores. And each team has 2 people. I'm the captain and shuttle people back and forth andd help out where I can. (Usally at the cash register - everyone forgets to have someone waiting in line to check out quickly! We even take orders. And our motto: This is not a test! We always come back with everything we want! We have a GREAT time! And in St Louis we've met lots of other teams! ;-) I love BlackFriday!

My sister-in-law and best friend from beginning to end while hubby will join us after Walmart when we stop by the house to unload before heading to the other stores.

i plan to go with my husband as we will be doing our anniversary shopping that day

Last year we stayed with inlaws and the kids slept in but this year I believe I will be camping out in an rv in the parking lot with the parents. The kids can stay at home with dad and I should get everything on my list.

Well this will be my first time shopping on BF and so far its just me and my boyfriend who are going. :)

Generally 3 or 4 of my bestest friends. This year I think a couple more are going to be added to the mix. I'm slowly building a shopping army! :D

Its just my DH and I! We make a long weekend out of it. After diner my mom takes the 3 kids, Dh takes a nap and well I'm too excited to sleep. We hit the sales locally early. Jump on a ferry from NJ-Delaware hit the outlets there and then spend the weekend in Ocean City, Maryland. Thats why BF is pretty much my favorite day of the year!
