View Full Version : Does Amazon have any Thanksigiving or BF sales? Rebirth 10-3-2005, 8:58 PM Does Amazon have any sales for those two days? Brad 10-3-2005, 9:05 PM Amazon has their traditional "Friday Sale" but expands it a little on BF. They also typically have most of the Toys R Us BF sale items. eve 11-3-2005, 2:32 PM thanks for the info Brad ColleenzKids 11-3-2005, 3:20 PM Just a heads up! Last year I went through the list (thanks to Gottadeal!) and put the items in my cart ahead of time. I checked my cart on Thanksgiving day, and they were all the Black Friday prices!!! By doing this, I didn't have to worry about getting to TRU for the doorbusters, and instead headed to Wal Mart! I got everything I wanted!!! HTH! simonalex 11-3-2005, 3:31 PM Did u have to pay S/H for toys at Amazon.com?? Simonalex angel_parker1999 11-3-2005, 4:34 PM Just a heads up! Simonalex If Amazon.com is the seller (most of the time, they are), there's always free shipping for orders $25 and more. They're a bit slow though. erh12275 11-3-2005, 8:32 PM Did u have to pay S/H for toys at Amazon.com?? Simonalex Not sure about the rest of Amazon...but I didn't have to at Toys R Us because they had free shipping if you spent...I think it was $45. I also had my trusty GC's from u30 that I used so it cost me like a couple dollars.:gd_devild ebony0421 11-3-2005, 10:58 PM I would've never thought to put the items in my shopping cart and then buy them later, but I'm glad that I know now. That saves me alot of time going from store to store.:gd_orange :gd_orange cami_reardon 11-3-2005, 11:33 PM That's a unique idea I'd have never thought of!! (Putting in cart ahead of time). I might have to try that for the grandkids.:giggle: mjmcca 11-4-2005, 12:51 AM If Amazon.com is the seller (most of the time, they are), there's always free shipping for orders $25 and more. They're a bit slow though. Amazon does NOT do free shipping on any TRU orders unless TRU.com is having a special promotion. Generally at that time of the year TRU has a promotion for free shipping on select toys over $50. They have that promo going on now and i am hopeful it continues through BF eve 11-4-2005, 5:04 AM Just a heads up!
