A UT Austin research group is conducting a study to investigate the effects of smoking cessation on sexual functioning in men.
Eligibility:
1.) Male
2.) Between the ages of 25 and 60
3.) Currently smoke at least 15 cigarettes/day for at least 5 years
4.) Heterosexual
5.) Currently sexually active (sexual intercourse within the past 30 days)
6.) Committed to quit smoking now
This study consists of 3 sessions and provides 8 weeks of free nicotine transdermal patches. You will also receive free weekly consultation in order to stay smoke free, as well as free feedback on your cardiovascular and sexual functioning assessments.
