The Heavy-Cargo Train “Rules of the Ride”:

1. This is Heavy Cargo Train, so it should weight 3 oz or little over, worth of about 3 postage stamps.

2. Send the train to person below you on the train list included in each envelope.

3. Take out as many coupons as you want, but be sure to replace them with the same number of coupons.

4. You should not put any coupons that expire within 2 weeks as a main weight of the train. You can add couple of them as extra weight for the train if they are good coupons.

5. Please do not flood the envelope with coupon duplicates. No more than 3 of the same coupon(no Prilosec or adult diapers and other useless coupons)

6. You can include coupons printed from internet, but there cannot be more than 5 of them in the envelope (make sure it's a good, valuable coupons) and if it make whole circle You have to remove it.

7. If you no longer wish to be in a train, please PM me (Kasha0601) and make sure You send all the trains You have in Your possesion before leaving the train

8. You have 3 days to go through the envelope and decide which coupons you are taking/replacing. The faster the better.

9. Post to this thread when you receive the Heavy Cargo Train envelope and again when it is going out. This helps all riders track the train.

10. This is a Circle Track Train, so the last person on the list will send the the first.

11. If you flake on the Coupon Train, you will be removed from the lists and not be allowed to participate in other Trains.

12. YOU MUST use a 6”x9” heavyweight paper envelope (like those brown envelopes) or padded if You wish. Far too much work goes into cutting out the coupons to have an overstuffed #10 envelop get destroyed by the auto-sorters.

We use them, but only occasionally and I can usually get enough coupons from the newspapers I buy. If I need more than that, I'll just post a request for them, no need to have them in the train if no one else is looking for them.

I posted that a while back when I noticed, but I couldn't fix it because I cleaned out my pm's and accidentally deleted all of the addresses so I don't have any unless I get an envelope. I just knew that she moved so I knew the address was wrong, I crossed it out on a couple but haven't been doing it on all of them.

We got a Wii and a 32" LCD HDTV for the family. Then DH got me a membership to Curves because I'm getting old and flabby and gaining weight while I try (unsuccessfully) to quit smoking. Hopefully I can pick up Wii Fit and work it off at home too!!

I quit smoking about 3 years ago, after I moved in with my DS. He couldn't stand cigarettes smell, so i just went cold turkey. And I did it, very happy now :)

FYI, there are supposed to be a lot of inserts in the 1/4 papers. 2 RP, 2 SS & 1GM. Looks like there are a lot of good coupons (i.e., $2.50 off finish/electrasol tabs, dannon yogurt Q's, Loreal Q's). I plan to try and pick up about 10 extra papers this week, so please let me know if there's a specific Q you're looking for.

yeah, the coupons seemed to be mostly for medicines this weekend!

So... I when I told my DS 16 he was like "big deal"-- until I said well that means no snapple or soda for you!! (he actually went out to the car to look for it)

Trying to be positive, it means no quick trips for a deal, more time with family. Will take me quite a while to regroup, and my basement does look like a small store so we have plenty. Just wanted to tell someone who would understand....

I am so sorry for your loss!! I am sure that WE ALL know how you feel. I lost mine once. Went back the next day~no luck. I cried!! Went 3 days later~no luck. I cried again~NO KIDDING!! Went back a week later and it had been turned in!! I couldn't believe it!! So, make sure you check back with the store!! More than once!!

Just a heads up. K-mart has General Mills cereal on sale 5/$10.00. I know my K-mart is doubling up to $2.00. Then there is a mail in $5.00 GC for buying 5 boxes...I had 3 $1.00 coupons, so I paid $4.00 for 5 boxes and will get a $5.00 GC. There is a limit of 10 boxes and 2 GC's.

I will get 11E and 8R out tomorrow, we have a "blizzard warning" and I had to rush home from work to beat the bus home because my hubby got called in & I don't want to drag them out in this weather.

Rec'D 7 E, have gone through it and removed all of Jan. and replaced with later dates. Will mail tomorrow to Veronica. Will post when it is at the PO.

I'm so angry!!! My Chicago Tribune had NO coupon sections in it, I called the newspaper twice and was told they would "try" to re-deliver it, but they never did. My Rockford paper barely has any coupons in it ever, just a bunch of ads. One of the coupon sections from this weekend had 1 coupon in it and all the rest of the pages had ads on them.

Sorry everyone. Weather here has been just horrible, and I've been taking 2 classes over the Christmas break (very intense) that just ended.

I did receive trains 5 and 9, and both of them have been sent back out.

I mailed something to NC on Dec 23 from the PO. It was returned YESTERDAY, 1/21, as undeliverable. Where the heck was it for a month? LOL.

I agree with Darlene, and lot of times mail from Kandy takes a long time (i'm after her on West, so i know).
Speaking about missing mail, I sent Gillette razor to Poland 12/26, still nothing. guy payed me already and now he's chasing me where is the razor :( guess will have to give his money back, but at PO lady told me to wait 1-2 more weeks. Usually mail doesn't take longer than 7 day from here to Poland.
BTW i just got train from Kandy i think it's 12

and 6E will go out to paytonroxler tomorrow

can you do tracking on international packages?
within the us, it's only .75c and i like to know that if someone questions, i have a number to check and at least show it was mailed. i might have to return their money but my integrity will remain unscathed. :D peace of mind. priceless. :)

half of these were 1/31 expires. i'm not exaggerating.
i left them in in case anyone's interested in them and will be shopping soon.
but i didn't want one person to have to replace that many so i put extras in with longer expirations.

The train was heavy, way over 4oz. that's why i left 1/31exp. I thought they were pretty good coupons, no Pillsbury or other junk like that :)

1M was received Wed. (sorry i've not been able to get online) and it was mailed out on Thursday.

In NJ we don't have Giant but all other stores (Shoprite, Pathmark, Stop&Shop, A&P) always double up to $.99, and from time to time triple.

No Giant here, we have Lowes and Harris Teeter that double up to $0.99 everyday and occasionally triple.

We have Giant but they only double up to 50 cents, Super Fresh doubles up to 99 cents all the time. Super Fresh and Shoppers triple at least once every 4 to 6 weeks.

I wasn't able to get these finished and sealed up this morning so they will go out tomorrow.

Got 12W and 2W over the weekend and shipped both out today to Payton Roxler.

You should spread them around a bit, but no big deal :)
I have no idea how it happened because I sent them at least 3 days apart. Oh well, Maria please when You get the trains send one and keep the other for like 3 days. Thanks.
