nice find! this is a little off-topic, but I was just at Toys R Us and they have these adorable little candy dispensers, similar to Pez, which look exactly like a Wii remote! Cute stocking stuffer for the Wii fan in your life - they were $2.49... :)

I just got one around 9:40 pm est. I just happened to be on dell.com looking a few hours ago and saw them. Then I searched here for a coupon code before ordering; couldn't find one so went ahead and bit the bullet before they sold out. Now to figure out what games and accessories my 6 year old DS wants to go with it.

It comes with the Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Golf, and Boxing that should be enough until they get use to it...plus you can buy a point card ($20 bucks) for 2000 points and download games if you hook your wii up the internet....I would just grab an extra control and nunchuk you might even catch them on sale blackfriday!

She's right and also you should probably pick up a wii battery charger. The games that come with it are the best imo. I love tennis.

you can't go wrong with Mariokart!! My son LOVES it and there is endless variety so it doesn't get boring... I even like playing it. I just read elsewhere that Toys RUs has some doorbuster sales going on this weekend which include some $10 Wii games...

Thanks everyone. I was thinking of starting a thread asking for help on what to get but now I don't have to. Now I know what the necessary accessories are and that Mariokart is a great option. I will also check out the $10 games from Toys R Us this weekend. He's not picky so I figure buy him a few cheap games and hopefully there will be a sale after Christmas where we can get a few more.

BTW - my husband loves tennis so I think there might be some fights during Christmas break. :)

I believe we've had a couple of those threads before. Just search for wii and you might find some more suggestions.

Carnival Games is really neat if your son or your family enjoys playing the same ones at real carnivals. We all get a kick out of that one - it is a nice family game and has a lot of variety...

I got my WII today!! It was the weirdest thing.... I received a phone call from Dell yesterday saying that the WII was on back order and it would not be shipped out until the 30th. Which, I then got worried.... Anyway, last night around midnight I received an e-mail stating that my item had been shipped.. :confused: So, this morning I opened my front door and there it was on my front porch! Again, :confused: but whatever, I have my WII! :yup:
