I opened the screen earlier to take the survey, then realized it was time for lunch so I hopped off the puter to cook, but left the survey up (hadn't even started it yet). Luckily just got back on the computer and seen that this post said the survey was closed, but it still let me take it probably because I had it opened already. Thanks!

We had an unexpectedly huge number (8x what we expected!) of people complete the survey in the last few hours it was open - which is great! But it means that it will take us a bit more time to get these out, since I am processing these manually.

Unfortunately, there were clearly a good number of people who did not make a good-faith effort at thoughtfully completing our survey. Through our initial test run, we identified that 8-12 minutes was the average amount of time it took to complete the exercise, and we will compensate all users whose survey-taking time was within a reasonable margin of that. We expect to have all gift certificates distributed within a week.

I read every single word of it, took it serioiusly and I bet it still only took me less than 6 minutes to complete. I always read very fast, I can read a book in one day,lol. Oh well, thanks anyway! It was worth a try!

If you're receiving this email, you'll get your gift certificate. It will take me more than a day to process - I expect to have all of the gift certificates distributed by Monday, August 11.

Yes I received the same one, It literally just makes me see red:mad: that so many people cheat and try to ruin it for the rest of us that genuinely put in a good faith effort on these surveys..plus make so much extra work for these companies that wasn't anticipated.. It's a downright shame!:mad:

I know and it is so sad and disturbing, gosh we all want/need a few extra bucks., I mean this is why we do these surveys right? I just hope the survey companies don't get disgusted with all of this greed and dishonesty that they try to find another means and hurt us all from trying to make a little extra money..

This is my biggest fear that they will only do the in-person groups because of the greedy people lying and cheating on the surveys...it is sad.

I did this once, didn't get an email and I am pretty sure I didn't do it in under 2 minutes.

Sometimes I think surveys need a bit more knowledge before they do surveys. I have had a few that ask a question and my answer is not available and there is no option to state that.

I hate that. I can't remember how long it took me but I read each question and answered appropriately as I do with all my surveys. I sure hope it doesn't go to all in-person ones b/c there are not really any opportunities for those where I live.

It was a standard Amazon Gift Certificate email and it stated it was from loomia.. She stated it could take a week for everyone to be paid..:)

I'm so sorry, It does pay to slow down a little when taking these surveys, so many of the dishonest people have created this situation for all of us.They do a survey "blind", skimming thru it just to get it done. The biggest majority of surveys now are timed, which wasn't the case a couple of years ago, but they are starting to really double check the survey results..Also they are double checking the IP addys, another thing they didnt use to have to do. I am very concerned as to these companies stopping the great paying surveys for all of us.:mad:
I would watch your email til next Monday,:) you might still receive it, remember they had to check "2000" completed surveys "manually" for all of this..It's a small company just starting out, I can't imagine all the extra, frustrating, time consuming effort they are going thru.

post script: I saw on another forum site ( that shall remain nameless) a thread for a $25 survey and there were over "23,000" people that had checked it out..Can you imagine???

I did a survey for a different company a few weeks past and it suddenly stopped and gave me a screen that basically told me I wasn't taking it seriously. Survey was then over. I have to admit it surprised me. I was reading, I was thinking, I certainly was taking it seriously but apparently I read too fast.

Now I try to read it twice. Doesn't change my opinion. Makes it more annoying for me. Unfortunately perhaps I didn't do it for this one. I remember thinking this one was rather simple in its form. Perhaps I was one of the too quick ones and should also walk the dog in the middle.

My luck, I will take too long then!

Don't give up hope yet. I didn't receive the email that others did stating that it would be taking longer than planned to process these, but I still received the $15 Amazon GC. Just because you didn't receive the initial email doesn't mean you got disqualified. Give it a few more days. I read everything thoroughly and answered honestly, and it still only took me 5 or 6 minutes to complete.

I feel the same way. I am a very very fast reader and can go through surveys like lightening. That's not fair.
