As a participant in a Study, you will use the product at home as instructed. You will be compensated for your time and your participation upon completion of the study. Most of the time, you will get FREE PRODUCT TOO.

2. D155 - 5 weeks Insole study for Male & Female age 45 and older (no maximum age limit, open for African American, Asian, Hispanic, Caucasian), must have knee, hip or foot pain as a result of Osteoarthritis, must not be in any other study in the past 90 days.

Start 9/2. 140 PARTICIPANTS NEEDED. VERY EASY STUDY!!

Everyone will have an examination and x-rays taken of their feet, knees or hips. Based on the x-ray results, if you Disqualify, you will still be paid a total of $55.00 for 2visits.

Those who qualify will continue on, and get paid $200.00 on the last visit.

Length of Visits:
MOST VISIT WILL BE 30 minutes

QUALIFICATION: ***Please read over before you reply*****

A. Please bring at least 3 pairs of shoes with you for Visit 1. Only 10% of the group will be approved to wear athletic shoes, so the more pairs of shoes you bring, the better your chances of qualifying for this study.
Please bring athletic shoes, casual, or dress shoes that can wear with an Insole. The shoes must be CLOSED toe, and closed heel, and closed sides.
B. The following shoes are not acceptable: sandals, open toe, sides, or heel, heels > 1.5 inches.
No NEW shoes. Shoes need to be comfortable and broken in, but not worn out.
C. PLEASE READ: These questions will help to see if you qualify!!
1. Must be Male or Female age 45 and older (no age limit).
2. Must not be in any other study in the last 90days (note: if you are interested in this study, but had been in a study in the last 90days, please still reply with a note, just in case we might change it).
3. Must have knee, feet, or hips PAIN as a result of Osteo-arthritis, (not Rheumatoid arthritis). (no need to be diagnosed formally, but need to have Doctor would have mentioned it). It's very common in older age people to have.
Pain must not exceed 9 on a scale of 1-10.
4. BMI (body mass index) need to be equal OR less than 39. (based on your height and weight).
5. Shoe size: (Male: must be 8-13) , (Female: must be 6-10).
6. Willing to wear the Shoe insole for at least 8 hours a days, 5days a week for the duration of the study.
7. Female: no pregnant, or nursing.
8. Not received any new investigational NEW Drugs WITHIN THE LAST 30DAYS.
9. Must not have a major SURGERY in either LOWER EXTREMITY within the past year (hip to foot).
10. Not employed by a company that makes pharmaceutical drugs or devices or cosmetic. (no family member with those companies).
11. Must not have Diabetic neuropathy, diabetic ulcers, or other sores stemming from diabetes on your feet.
12. No OTHER health issue that might cause PAIN in the knee, hip, feet other than osteoarthritis.
13. No circulatory problem or foot problem that make an insole uncomfortable.
14. No suffering excruciating pain. (severe pain)
15. No severely painful toe or foot conditions. (bunion, warts, corn, calluses, ingrown toenails, overlapping toes, blister, etc....)
