I'm looking everywhere for white paintable plates. I have the paint but not the plates. Looked at all craft stores and dollart stores, no luck.

Do you have one of those paint-your-own pottery places? In Utah, we have a place called "Color Me Mine," and they have all kinds of different white pottery pieces that you paint and they fire for you. This is a pricey way to go, but the results are good.
