Do you know anyone who is a student or staff/faculty at a University? Adobe was offering some of their different CS3 versions for a greatly reduced price to students and staff/faculty recently. I am a staff member and was able to purchase Adobe CS3 Design Standard for about $225 back in mid January (it is listed on their website for $1199). If you do know someone, have them look into it at their campus bookstore.
