When there is 16 riders the train will be split

Light Cargo Train “Rules Of The Ride”:

1. Send to the person below you on the train list included in each envelope.

2. Take out as many coupons as you want, but be sure to replace them with the same number of coupons.

3. Do not put expired or very close to expiring coupons into the envelope. Meaning if coupons expire on June 30th, please remove by June 20th. If you would like to keep the expireds in, they are to be extra weight and not counted in the total coupons in envelope.

4. Please do not flood the envelope with coupon duplicates. No more than 3 of the same coupon.

5. If you no longer wish to be in a train, please cross your name off the list and PM me (Bethanykay6).

6. You have 2 days to go through the envelope and decide which coupons you are taking/replacing.

7. Post to this thread when you receive the Train and again when it is going out. This helps all riders track the train. Please make a habit of doing this. If you have to, subscribe to this thread that way you receive emails to remind you. This is how we keep track of where each of the trains are.

8. This is a Circle Track Train, so the last person on the list will send the first.

9. If 2 Trains become missing at your stop without explanation you will be off the Coupon Train, you will be removed from the lists and not be allowed to participate in other Trains.

10. NO Prilosec or Nexium coupons allowed! Also, lets keep the photo coupons and diaper.com coupons out of the trains. most everyone has access to these and unless they ask, lets leave them out.

11. If there is coupons that you need or would like to see, please post so we know to add those to the trains.

Recieved Train #2 from Kmbrly today. I filled it full!! I had so many coupons to get rid of. I put ones that expire 5/31 in a paperclip. Please try and keep the close to expiring ones in the paperclip that way the next person can just throw those if they are expired.

I got one today and just put it back in the post. I didn't get a chance to really go thru it but I do know that about 1/2 were 5/31 expires if not more. I did pull out several that were expired back in April.

It said train 1, I really thought it said #6 but it could have been 7. The envelope is at work, whomever it was has really pretty handwriting.

Remember the holiday on monday it will make the mail couple days behind time...

OKAY---ALSO MAKE sure you are checking the numbers on the envelopes and on the lists. Every train should have a list inside dated from back in the beginning of may. At the top of the list write the train number, not that its light cargo train 1, we know that....but write down if its 7 or 4 or whatever. This will help keep the train organized. Those lists MUST BE in every train! That helps out the next person to make sure they are getting sent in the correct order.

I received train #7 today. I removed all of the ones expiring on 5/31/08 and loaded it up with current ones. (There are still a couple in there that have an exp date of 5/31, but after almost tossing them, I noticed that they expire in 2009, not current year) :blush:

im starting to wonder if a couple of these trains don't have VERY old lists in them. REMEMBER ALL LISTS IN THE TRAIN SHOULD HAVE A DATE AT THE TOP OF IT. POSSIBLY MAY/JUNE 2008

We have officially derailed train #3. So we have two riders joining us in this train. Please welcome Maxndeals and Cthulhu.

I will not hesitate to remove any riders not doing there part in these trains. If you know you can't participate due to lack of time or anything other reason...please leave the train. Too many people put way to much time and money into these trains. Don't ruin it for all of us.

I received train 1 yesterday. I knew I wasn't going to have time to go through it and didn't want to hold it up, so I went ahead and put it back in the mail yesterday to Bethany. This was before I got the PM last night, so the old list is in the envelope.

Received trains 4 & 5 on Thursday of last week, had DS birthday party this weekend, so will get them back out on Monday 6/23. Paperclipped all the expireds so they are seperate from the rest. :)

That is fine that you remove me from the train as I was only getting sporadic trains anyways...as for the insinuation that somehow I hadn't been on for two weeks..I had nothing to post as nothing had arrived...I posted the last two trains that arrived and when I sent them out and to be honest, I don't spend everyday on here as I have a job, five kids and a life that comes first..I had been on this train for over a year and have never had anything lost here, so I resent the insinuation that somehow trains were being derailed here...I prided myself in putting a bunch of tearpads, winetags and out of the norm coupons in those trains and did not lose any of them, they were sent on to the next person, as per my last post. I did receive a last train on Thursday 7/3/08 labeled train #2 and will get it out to you, Bethany, as I do not want to be responsible for another train derailed. I however, have not added or taken out any of the expireds, you can do this on your own...

to the rest of you, it was fun being on the train with you all, but here recently they were becoming a drag and were taking forever to get from one part of the country to another, so good luck to all of you and happy couponing!

My computer crashed for a couple of days and I couldn't get into gottadeal at all! Im back and upset at the fact that Staviles blames my coming on as conductor as the problem with this train. Im sending out 9-10 REPLACEMENT trains every month. At more than 1.00 for postage plus the value of all the coupons-----I think I have put my heart into these trains.

I can't help it if people don't mail these trains out. I had to make changes and we have to keep the trains going. If the trains don't move..this will end up just like train 3....DERAILED.

Keep the trains moving. If you can't do that----TAKE YOURSELF OFF THE LIST.

I mailed out a replacement train 8 yesterday because the train I mailed doesn't look like it showed up. That's two trains (Pet one and this one) I stuck them in the mail box outside the hosptial out of the state im in because they were in my purse. :(

I responded to the PM. Also I can start a new Train but it will have to wait until Sunday as I have a full day of events for today and tomorrow.

I received train 10 and will mail it out tomorrow morning.

I received train #10 yesterday, Tues., 7/15. It is going out in this morning's mail, Wed., 7/16 and it is going to Kandy in Alabama!! And there were LOTS of really great coupons!! Thank you to everyone!!!!

ohhhhhhh Boy I got two coming my way sounds great!!

Grandma WK emailed me. SHe was in the hospital and then the nursing home for almost 3 weeks. She does have a train..she will send it out tomorrow...Im not sure what number it is. Im sure that its not #1..but it might be. She says that the date on the front says it was mailed 7/1. The only train that i see that was mailed 7/1 was Train 2..but that was supposed to be mailed to Staviles...so not sure which train..I will find that out and update the thread.

train# 3 was received yesterday. I went through it this morning and its on its way to kmbrly

I got train 7 today...will go through this weekend and send back out to CG480 on Monday!!!

Sent train out today,#3,I was in the hospital and Nursing home, at my home now,so I will be able to get my mail, instead of someone else getting it,

I will be leaving town on Fri. July 26th. So, skip me for a week. I will be returning on Aug. 2. So, anytime after August 1st, you can start mailing to me again.

Cinnamonhuskies-------I have sent a PM to her. No activity on the account since 7/18 not sure if on vacation or what---no info on whats going on. If no PM returned by Friday--will be suspended from train until we hear from her....if no hear from her in 2 weeks...will be removed from train permanantly. There are two trains on the way and I have sent one previously that was never "recieved" that is three trains. WAY TOO MANY not being received.

I had train 10 ready to go out, and had every intention of sending it out on Monday. I'm sooooo sorry, I just realized today it was still in my purse. It went out today.

We have had two people removed from the train and a new rider added. I have switched around the entire train...to see if this helps with moving of the trains and keeps them going. I can't afford to continue to send multiple trains out a month....between the shipping and the coupons themselves....and its hard to always ask you guys to cover for others to do their job either.

Hopefully.....we had a couple drop out...maybe with the chain a little tighter...we can see where the problem areas are and do some switching. Please bear with me....Im not doin this to wreck havoc on train...just trying to get it situated so we run smooth like Train 2.

Preach on!!! I wasn't complaining (or at least I wasn't trying to)...this is just the first time that I have ever had to send to anyone other than CG480 on this train so it was a bit of a shock, that was all. I'm still just happy to be getting (and sending) trains. As always, let me know if you need another started...I still have enough to do so (and will still get #9 out this week now that I went to the PO yesterday and got stamps!!)

ok, just making sure it wasn't lost somewhere. We're having some problems with the mail here. Not sure what they're doing, but whatever it is caused my paycheck to be delayed by about 3 days. I was supposed to get it Wednesday, and finally got it yesterday.

Cinnamonhuskies----when did you mail train 5?

I am starting a train zero. It will be a reverse train. I will put all the riders backwards and send it out. I will get it out this week. Once I put together a reverse list. I am goin to see I might have two reverse trains, but have one go a mix up train that will randomly put riders in different order than normal and reverse. I will post about that later.

I got in late last night. Received train 3 last night. Have already gone through it. Will mail it out this afternoon or tomorrow.

Edit: Train was mailed this afternoon. I think I forgot to write "train 3" on the envelope.

I have no problem starting a train. I have enough coupons so it no problem. And I do not worry about getting on it no big deal to me.

Received train 8 on Saturday. Mailed it out today.

I am working on the idea I have for the light cargo trains, similar to what the heavy cargo train did. I also may have a potential new rider...Im gonna have to go over lists of light cargo trains 1 and 2 and see where to put her. Due to her state..Im really not sure.

So....for right now...

DO NOT PUT THESE COUPONS IN THE TRAINS. (if you see them, please throw them away or use them for something else, but please replace when you toss)

Huge huge huge changes coming tomorrow afternoon. I have made my decision regarding train lists and some new riders.

Please put a hold on all trains. Do not send any out until the new pm has gone out.

FYI...trains 4 and 13 didn't go out on the 26th so they are on hold until Bethany says they can be mailed. Sorry ladies...

ok im sending out PM's in just a bit. I need you to all PAY ATTENTION when you get these PM's. As some of you have been switched to train 2. I have evened out the trains for riders as well as moved to new trains. This thread will be closing this week following the start of two new threads. When you get your PM's I need you to respond back to me so I know that you recieved it and are going to do as requested.

Now-----as for the changes---I looked at distance wise and tried to see how we could manage the one state clear out west with trains in the middle and on the east coast. So I have made up my mind and hopefully everyone is okay with the changes. I tried to make it as easy as possible and hopefully this brings the trains to an easier route for everyone.

I got train 7 and 12 today.

Train 7 had 50 coupons in it that expire on the 30 & 31st.
It also had 5 coupons in that expired on 8/8/8 and 8/16/08 there were 10 coupons in that train that are good to pass foward.

Train 12 had 15 coupons in it that expire on 8/30 & 8/31 and 35 coupons to pass foward. Just thought I'd let you know.

I just wanted to tell you that I am after you. So, no worries. I have plenty of coupons!! I can fatten those trains up when you send them to me.

The coupon were pass along...will just more closer next time...

I got a freaking boat load (or "train load") of trains today.

For some reason Train 9 that I had sent out a couple of weeks ago was returned to me. Not sure why, all the postage is there and the address was correct. There's no reason on the envelope for the return except for RTS (Return to Sender).

I also received Train 1, train 4 and train 7. Train 7 looks like it's been through a war zone. The envelope was ripped and shredded in a couple of places. It arrived in one of those "Dear Valued Postal Customer" envelopes that they apologize for damaging it.

So I will go through them all tonight and get them ready to send out tomorrow.

Question...shouldn't we be posting in the new "West" train thread???

yes yes we should....she probably just was confused..she had a lot of trains hit her at once and it was a mess...but we have it cleaned up now and hopefully the confusion will settle once the trains get on the new lists

I recvd train #4 and #13 I put them together very small amount to save on postal, mail out this morning 9/5...Enjoy:)
