Does anyone know if Webkinz Charms are hard to find? I live in a good sized town and no one seems to have them in stock and they said they haven't had any for quite awhile. Anyone else have this problem? I am located in Southwest Missouri, if anyone has seen any near here.

Yes they are very popular and hard to find. Even online they are sold out. Whenever you see them grab them. I have not seen any in the stores since before Christmas.

Halmark stores always seem to be out of the charms but Limited Too seems to have a decent amount, at least they did the last time we were there. If you have a Ltd2 near you i would give them a try-also have you searched the webkinz site for where they sell webkinz in your area? thay may help too...

Almost all stores are sold out, have been since before Christmas. The charms were being held back due to lead concerns. Right now they are saying there is a very minute amount of lead and so they are working on being able to release them again. But I guess in Cali and Ill they have stricter guidelines for lead. It's just a matter of time before they will start hitting the shelves again. I heard soon, so don't be paying outrageous amounts for them!

I read on another site, Webkinz might start releasing charms for sale to the public again in June.

I went to the Webkinz site and used the store locator and worked my way down the list, that is how I found out no one had them. Thanks for all the replies everyone, at least I know I am not alone! Luckily, this is not a life or death item for the little one, not yet anyway. :)
