Hello,

Thank you for your past interest in research studies conducted by the Oregon Center for Applied Science. We are contacting you now because at one time you indicated interest in being contacted for future research studies.

At this time, we are conducting a research study for caregivers who work with patients or residents with mental illness. If you choose to participate, you may be eligible to receive $80!

Involvement in the study includes answering two online surveys and viewing an Internet program. We are seeking professional caregivers to share their experiences and ideas, and to provide feedback on a new online training program for workers who come in contact with residents or patients with psychiatric disorders. This research is funded by the National Institutes of Health and conducted by the Oregon Center for Applied Science. There are no sales or mailing lists involved.

If you are interested in participating, please go to http://Study.CaringSkills.com to read more about the study and answer a few questions to help determine if you qualify.

As always, you can reply to this email or call 1-800-934-0626 if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Caring Skills Study Staff

Help us test a new DVD program that teaches skills for preventing child injuries in the home and car. To participate in this research study, answer a brief survey to see if you qualify. If you do qualify you'll answer three online surveys and receive up to $50 compensation. For more info and to sign up, go to http://babysafe.orcasinc.com. This project is funded by National Institutes of Health, developed by the Oregon Center for Applied Science.

Keeping Baby Safe Research Project
Information Web Page
Are you a parent or legal guardian of a newborn or toddler?
Is your oldest child younger than 24 months?

If you answered YES to both questions above, you may be eligible to receive up to $50 for participating in the Keeping Baby Safe Research Study.

We have developed a program to teach child injury prevention skills to parents of young children, and we need your help to test the program. This is a research study. That means you will be randomly (by chance, like the flip of a coin) assigned to be in one of two groups.
One group will view 2 DVDs on child injury prevention.
The other group will read written materials about child injury prevention.
This research study is funded by the National Institute on Child Health and Human Development and conducted by the Oregon Center for Applied Science. There are no sales or mailing lists involved.
To learn more about the Keeping Baby Safe Study, and to find out if you qualify as a participant, click the "Continue" button (this will take you to our survey website).

If Catlin hadn't gotten to it first I would have said the same thing. Catlin is only following guidelines I set, and members like and agree with, when this forum first began. She was only being helpful in providing a response to your question.

There are a lot of survey companies and research projects posted here. There are many opportunities to take part. Good luck!
